prices will start from £24 per month

Would you take it up?

I need to work out what I’m paying per month tbh, but I pay for Now Tv, Netflix, Apple TV and get Disney plus with my bank (Lloyds) - 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Seems to me that we’ve gone back to the days of just having one cable tv bill!! - well done to sky for hanging in there tbh!

I don't have Sky or any streaming channels (if that's what they're called), and at £24 a month I don't intend to change that.

INeedAnotherName · 13/02/2026 08:41

I received an email yesterday saying all this was being added to my package. I'm on basic Sky and only 6 months into my contract. Very surprised tbh.

That's very good, it sounds like it's all existing Sky customers are getting a free bundle then.

berlinbaby2025 · 13/02/2026 08:53

I hate ads and hate being tied in for months, so I’ll be giving this a miss.

I have this package which at the moment includes Netflix. Got an e mail to tell us about the three add ons. Really chuffed.

I’d bet good money on this being an introductory offer but almost certainly won’t apply to existing customers. Sky lure you in with low offers, get you hooked and then (like boiling frogs) gradually turn up the heat till you suddenly realise, ‘hey I was paying £25 a month, why am I now paying £75?’

I’m currently stuck in a Stockholm Syndrome relationship with Sky at £65 per month. I cancel every 18 months at the end of the contract and swear I’m going to Freeview but then I get suckered in again. Every Time.

It does apply to existing customers.

Lazydomestic · 13/02/2026 09:08

Cancelled my Sky yesterday as had gone up to £58 / month and I occasionally use Netflix. Best price they would offer as existing customer was £34 / month for essential + basic Netflix. There is barely anything on essential which isn’t available on free view

Save £600 a year 👍

Sorry I'm a bit of a tech dinosaur, trying to figure out, will I not be able to get Disney+ through my firestick and on the kids tablet apps once this change happens?

I'm guessing it will be the same as Netflix which I already have through Sky, I have a Netflix login which is my original one which is now paid for through Sky but I can use Netflix on all the apps on different devices like when I paid through Netflix. I also was able to upgrade to Netflix no ads with Sky by paying the difference.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 13/02/2026 09:54

Im with sky (another love/hate relationship. They bung the price up, I ring threaten to leave they miraculously come up with.a better deal. This year it was cheaper to have films, paramount and Netflix than the basic package.) DS pays for Disney so that will save him a bit.

Right, so existing customers will get it for £24 too, is that confirmed? I’m not with Sky btw, but might be interested as I do want to finally watch The Pitt on HBO plus the new Game of Thrones spin off etc.

No - as an existing customer cheapest they would offer me yesterday was £34
That was an essentials package which from March included Netflix / Disney etc

IngridBergmannn · 13/02/2026 13:50

Finally, FINALLY, HBO Max will be in the UK. All the best content, best tv ever made. I'll just get that, directly from HBO, no need for the Sky garbage.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 13/02/2026 16:04

i wonder whether hbo max do kids content - maybe I can finally ditch Netflix

OP if you want them all in the Sky bundle and don't swap in and out, the Sky deal is probably alright. Would you want one of the other offerings from Lloyds bank though instead of Disney, I get DH a walking magazine with mine or you can get cinema tickets I think but if there isn't anything else from LB you would want you are probably better to get stand alone streamers

teaandbigsticks · 13/02/2026 16:19

Just a warning to anyone considering moving to Sky for this offer- I've found the customer service to be shocking. My elderly parents signed up for a TV and phone package when there was a good offer on. There was a problem on the landline that took them over a year to properly sort out (they kept blaming whoever it is that they pay for the use of the actual lines) leaving 2 old and unwell people who are not good with mobiles without a landline for months. There was supposed to be a credit to the account for the time they could not use the service but this has never happened, despite following up several times. It was a nightmare to switch the name on the contract over when Dad passed away and I have recently found out they are being charged 3 x as much as the advertised price for just for the most basic TV package. We are now trying to cancel but they are making that very, very difficult (last attempt was over an hour on the phone, being put on hold/transferred many times and then cut off). I have attempted to make an official complaint but have been told that the only way to do this is to ask the person on the phone to do it on my behalf, and they've said there is no way to see what has been included or what action is being taken (cynically I think this means I have actually no way of knowing if any complaint has actually been lodged).
I'm sure it's fine if all goes to plan and you are able to check for new offers etc at the end of your contract but I feel I need to warn people that their customer service is very lacking.

The wording on Sky TV site says:

New customers will get Sky Originals and Exclusives, Hayu, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max1 as part of the Sky Ultimate TV pack from just £24 a month. Designed for those who want a never-ending supply of brilliant entertainment for the best value in the market, it brings together over 130 channels including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, plus many more.

New Customers only.

I have an email saying they will be included with my subscription so I dont think its new customers. Looks like its the ad subscriptions though

thank you - I already paid £38 for vanity fair and vogue for the year, I don’t think I’d read any - I don’t think it’ll be worth it for me

plus I need Netflix on two devices at a time which will bump up the price 🫩🙄

We already get Netflix and Disney+ included through Sky anyway. DH has always been able to get us decent deals from them whenever our contract runs out. I don’t know if we would use the HBO Max thing when it launches or not so that would be the only difference from now for us I guess.

Hmm, I’d heard from a friend that Sky could be tricky, so this does put me off somewhat. The standalone Now and Disney subscriptions are really easy to cancel and restart so maybe I’ll stick with them after all.

RedRiverShore6 · 13/02/2026 17:28

Anyone that hops in and out of streamers, I wouldn't get the Sky ones, you have to give 31 days to cancel and it's not always possible online. I am have trouble with Sky at the moment regarding a Paramount subscription and it is like some sort of hell trying to get any sort of customer service to resolve it. It's very difficult to contact them on the phone as they want you to do it online and often you can't. There is a lot of 'computer says no'.

We've had an email (as existing Sky customers) saying the three apps will be added to our contract at no extra charge from March.

mum2jakie · 14/03/2026 08:09

Frustrating that we're halfway through March - have cancelled our Disney Plus - and Sky still haven't actually confirmed what date DP will be available. 'In March' isn't particularly helpful at this stage!
