I go through a fuck-it-all-need-a-clear-out and sell everything for under £3. And then I get fed up of trying to find an Evri shop that has a working machine... and take it all to charity.

Why are Evri so shite?

RedPony1 · 09/02/2026 10:28

i do because its so easy!

I recently had a clear out of my perfumes. I listed 20, mostly Primark ones for £1 each. Every single bottle sold within 30 mins! 2 bundles and 2 individual bottles. I only made about 18 quid but it was a good clear out

I sell on eBay and Vinted as I have a lot of new with tags clothes that don't fit with me or I just went off for some reason.

I only sell for a profit on the cost I paid, which gets me a lot of disgruntled comments from buyers.

Ninerainbows · 09/02/2026 11:00

No. There is no point for me in selling anything lower-end high street (Primark/New Look/Supermarket) as it either doesn't shift or is loads of effort for nowt. If it's a brand name like Dr Martens or Converse then I do sell, as well as mid-high street like White Stuff jumpers or Sweaty Betty.

BertieBotts · 09/02/2026 11:02

I have done before, because people tend to buy bundles so they would usually end up with more than just the one item.

When you're short of money and have ample time it's not a bad return. If you have the opposite then it's not worth it though.

i do. im currently on a selling spree at the moment as im moving house. lots sell for £1. i walk past lockers for all the postal services on my school run so its easy. plus i have the odd item for more. its amazing how quickly it adds up!

i wouldn't make a special journey to deliver though, only because its on my usual walk.

laura246810 · 09/02/2026 11:17

Its nice to sell for £1. I can get good baby stuff this way and its more like £4 after fees and shipping vs £8 in shops so a good deal.

Skibbgirl · 09/02/2026 11:25

Most of the things I have placed for sale on Vinted are under £5. I have a ridiculously packed wardrobe and more footwear than is probably legally permitted!! 😂 Add to that the fact that I have lost weight over the past year or so, and I have no problem selling my now unused clothes on Vinted and using the money to buy smaller sizes. It's definitely a win-win scenario for me. 😊

Hemax1 · 06/03/2026 22:27

Yes I made over £700 mostly from £1-2 items last year. Many people bundled up and didn’t just buy 1 item.

julesagain · 06/03/2026 23:15

I absolutely do, even fir the smaller amounts as it all adds up and I currently can't afford not to as I'm nit working due to ill health.

MyCheekyEagle · 08/03/2026 10:56

I've started to try to sell low value items on Vinted. Twice now, with the same item someone has ordered it, paid for the postage & then not bothered to pick the item up, so it's been returned to me.
Why bother paying for postage & then not bother to collect 🤷‍♀️
