To ask what Easter eggs you are eyeing up

I love anything Lindt. But M&S has an interesting range this year. The biscuit egg and the custard cream eggs are intriguing. Waitrose has some flat eggs, which just aren’t the same.

Oh and mini eggs are still top tier.

I might try an M&S one

do Tony’s chocoloney do one? I do like their bars, expensive as they are

Yes they do, both big eggs and little eggs too. £13.50 in Waitrose at the moment.

Thank you, that’s me sorted!

Theda13 · 08/02/2026 21:39

I wanted the M&S custard cream egg last year, but didn’t manage to get one. I’d still like that one, or this one!

Meh , he lives miles away but I guess

Didntask · 08/02/2026 21:41

M&S Speckled Eggs. Bags and bags of them.

MakeYourOwnSunshine · 08/02/2026 21:41

None yet, it's February. Just found a Twirl one in the cupboard from last year though so that will keep me going for now!

SparklyBrickViper · 08/02/2026 21:41

Aldi, Jammy Dodger one. I won’t get it as it will just be wasted but it’s caught my eye.

Salome61 · 08/02/2026 21:42

I’ve been watching the reels about Dairy farmers losing money because manufacturers are using cheap palm oil. Got my 32 year old son an M&S choc dinosaur 😀, no palm oil.

Berlinlover · 08/02/2026 21:45

After Eight Easter egg is my favourite.

REDB99 · 08/02/2026 21:46

I’m getting a Lindt one with chopped hazelnuts in the shell. I’m off the sugar and sweet stuff until then so very much looking forward to eating it all in April!
I may also get the mini eggs one with the mini eggs in the shell but I think Cadbury’s chocolate has gone downhill so much I’m not sure I will.

PleaseStopEatingMyStuff · 08/02/2026 21:46

Any without horrid greasy palm oil. Our stomachs aren't designed to cope with this much oil in everything.
I believe aldi and m&s have some great options with actual chocolate made with milk rather than oil. I'll be carefully reading the labels this year.

MissyB1 · 08/02/2026 21:48

I’m eyeing up the M&S giant buttons one, and the speckled egg one for ds.

Yes i was wondering whether people will buy differently this year because of this.
is cadburys the main culprit?

Salome61 · 08/02/2026 22:18

Unfortunately not just Cadbury - the majority of chocolate manufacturers are using palm oil and palm fat because it is so cheap. I support Orangutan Appeal UK and there’s no hope for the man of the forest with this monoculture. The workers stone/ shoot/stab any orangs that go into the fields.

Sweetiedarling7 · 08/02/2026 22:20

Maybe the M&S custard cream one as I like the actual biscuits. Although last year I had one of their Fully loaded praline ones and it was horrible.

Notashamed13 · 08/02/2026 22:21

None ...we still have a Thorntons bunny from 2 Easters ago and a tonne load of Christmas and Halloween chocs 😂

NotAnotherOneNC · 08/02/2026 22:22

Dairy allergy here. I'm looking at the Booja booja eggs (which are also free from palm oil).

Sunshineandrainbow · 08/02/2026 22:26

Can't even think about it as so much was bought for us at Christmas, slowly getting rid of it to dd's work!

I am here for the ones I might not have spotted though!

Normally buy the tiny Cadbury ones as I like the prize within the egg but can see this is now not the best idea.

Icouldwriteabookonmydisastrouslife · 08/02/2026 22:29

It’s time to boycott Cadbury and all the others who think we are going to keep sleepwalking into buying all their overpriced palm oil . It doesn’t taste like chocolate anymore .

Have you seen the price of Mini eggs this year … they are actually ripping us off.

NewYearNewMee · 08/02/2026 22:32

We’ve stashed a few M&S ones already (last year they sold out closer to Easter!) 🐣

TheChosenTwo · 08/02/2026 22:33

Are you lot looking at these for yourselves or for dc? I haven’t had an Easter egg since I was a child! If I want chocolate I’ll buy myself a proper bar of something I guess.
Last year dc1 had a Waitrose pistachio one, dc2 had a Tony’s chocoloney one and dc3 had a hotel chocolat one. I just get them whichever they ask for!

Icouldwriteabookonmydisastrouslife · 08/02/2026 22:33

£6.20 for 256g ??
I took this in my local Tesco last week !!!
