I will say I don't have much/any direct experience with FASD but I have read about it and find it very interesting. A lot of the symptoms are behavioural/cognitive so could easily be diagnosed as ADHD and similar, but there are distinctive facial features that often present with FASD, the most distinctive of which is probably a long, smooth philtrum. It is incredibly underdiagnosed and a lot of the least functional and least economically active people in the country who are born into deprivation and addiction likely have FASD.

This is topical for me - for the first time ever, I engaged with Tommy Robinson material today, interview he did on the Triggernometry YouTube channel. Based purely on that, him in his own words, I thought he was likeable, not racist, and, for very many different reasons in his back-story, very brave. Crazy brave, in fact.

Dickens’ novels are incredibly tedious. The only thing more boring was the BBC adaptations that ruined every Sunday afternoon of my childhood.
