In your opinion, is it ok for a baby to be vegan from weaning (6 months)?

Dairy has an obvious literal meaning. It means milk products from an actual DAIRY.
Human milk doesn't come from a dairy. This really isn't complicated.

The word dairy farm just describes the thing that they are farming and that product is considered dairy ie milk

Good lord. We're still going. Anyone who thinks that feeding your own child your own breast milk is not vegan, just fundamentally does not understand veganism.

Does it matter whether the mother has a vegan diet herself?
(She most probably would of course, but just wondering if the breast milk of a meat eater is still considered vegan? I’m guessing yes?)

I'd question how accurate you can be with nutrition for a baby when weaning, because it's not like plonking a plate in front of an adult, who will likely eat all of it.

My son is lactose intolerant, but is also a rabid meat eater. For a long time we struggled to interest him in any carb, he focused on veg and meat only.

Lots of ultra processed vegan food too that I wouldn't be keen on.

Vegan babies are all well and good, as long as they taste like chicken.
