To think judging political views is like racism

I’ve noticed when someone states their pootical views it becomes oh I bet they vote for X Y or Z and they prejudice them on that. When often they’re wrong?

It’s like a form of racism because they’re judging based on politic views?

The word you’re looking for is “prejudiced”.

Your political views literally reflect your values, thing you choose to have. Its nothing like racism.

Orite then. Well the thread is done then. Answer has been made.

Of course its not the same as racism!
A political view says a lot about a person of course it does it is their opinion. Someone's colour or where they come from doesn't say anything about their personality or their beliefs.

You’ve missed the point.

Like racism, prediciding someone by assuming their pootical view iS wrong, vile and bigoted behavior .

It's not really like racism, but I agree it can be bigoted. People often make unfair assumptions about your character or views based on your political inclination.

The only time I have made assumptions about someone's character based on their (loudly voiced) political views, I've been spot-on about what they're like when I've got to know them.

But that wasn’t your original point. And even this new point is completely flawed.

In what way has someone assuming your voting preferences negatively impacted your life?

Did it make you feel bad?

This is a good point. If someone guessing your political party of choice causes you to feel uncomfortable or unfairly judged, you should probably address why.

The mind boggles. Painting roundabouts? Lynchings? Claiming Muslims are making him say ‘Winterval trees’ and banning Christmas? Making Nigel Farage glove puppets?

It’s actually pretty prejudiced to throw around comparisons to racism just because someone made an assumption about your voting record on an internet thread.
