The one where the men get their jollies showing their cock and balls. There is a petition which is not getting much traction. You may want to sign if you don't want to encourage this.

It would be far too uncomfortable and painful to be fast enough to be at the front of the group whilst maintaining an erection

It's not the Tour de France! Plenty of people pottering by on Lime bikes/E-bikes.

exiledfromcornwall · 27/01/2026 11:10

Why on earth would anyone want to do this? Must be jolly painful apart from anything else.

scalt · 27/01/2026 11:12

Can we have some protection from pavement cyclists who yell “move out of the way, I’m not stopping”, cause serious injury, and then laugh their way out of court with a fine less than the value of their bike?

The same could be said of childbirth

Hmm they've gone from the front to the back now

🤔

I had to read this twice, I was thinking "yes it must be uncomfortable but surely no-one's nether regions are going to fall off?!" 😂

😂

I haven't heard of this ride before and from the title was thinking "how can a naked bike ride protect the children?" like it was a ride organised to try and protect them or something
😬

I have only seen it once. We were eating in a pub and suddenly they were all gathered a couple of yards from the windows. It would have been nice to have been warned. It was not a pretty sight.

Yeah, can imagine - that wouldn't half put you off your sausage and chips 😂

No, you misunderstood.

And apologies, I assumed you would understand the reference to the Tour de France.

The Tour de France is a famous bike race.

When I said "this is not the Tour de France" I am really saying "this is not a race."

No-one is racing down the Mall. It's a leisurely bike ride. People were pottering along at the front and the back.

Why are you accusing me of lying about what I saw?

Can we also have some protection from drivers who kill pedestrians and cyclists, and then laugh their way out of court with a fine less than the value of their vehicle?

Edited

You said they were at the front

Then changed it to the back

A mass of people are riding together, to be at the front of that you have to be going a decent pace

Which is pretty hard to do with a ... well hard on

The website says that Victoria park is off the list because, "based on information from Tower Hamlets Council that there was a possibility of violence in the park."

It's stated under their "news and views" section on the website.

Is this because it's slap in the middle of a Muslim community.

Very sad to see these outdated views been pandered to. It will be a great day when women in Tower Hamlets can feel empowered enough to throw off their burkas and jump on naked and joyfully onto a bike.

I think they should cycle through Victoria Park, not give in to this outdated prudish thinking.

Off with the Burka and On to a Bike. Empower Women Everywhere!

The default language of the twitter link is Arabic, you might be onto something here. If exposed head hair is already offensive, any other hair most certainly will be!

I am reporting it because I saw it.

Men with erections at the end of the London naked bike ride. 8th June 2024.

Maybe I was exaggerating earlier when I said "dozens", but certainly several.

I wasn't expecting it and don't think public nakedness is a problem.

I am not lying, as you seem to be accusing me of

Why does it matter if one or more of the men had erections? It’s something that happens to all men, very often involuntarily. Most adults will have seen a man with an erection before and if you don’t want your children to potentially see a man with his tackle out then it’s up to you to keep away from the bike ride. Why are you focusing so much on the men taking part rather than the women?

It matters because it almost certainly means they are deriving sexual stimulation from exhibitionist exposure of their genitals in public (commonly known as "flashing") which is a sexual offence.

So your question is essentially, "Why does it matter if men commit sexual offences?"

Very depressing that such an attitude is still to be encountered in 2026.

Confused

Oh it matters. It shouldn't be up to people to have to avoid public places because men have their cocks out, rather they should find private premises to do their 'naturism'.

I haven't expressed any opinion on why or if it matters. I am simply sharing that I have witnessed it, which some posters seem to disbelieve.

I will now express an option, if you like:

It matters if several men had erections because it can can be sexually intimidating, and possibly criminal if men knew this. After all, if a man involuntarily got an erection on the ride, he could cover it up.

I focused on the men rather than the women because I didn't see any women with erections.

Growlybear83 · 27/01/2026 13:12

@LadyTangerineBut if the bike ride is legal, which it appears to be, I don’t understand why people are so outraged by seeing naked men and women. Why is it wrong? Surely everyone’s children will have at least seen their parents naked, if not many more people in different situations.

Blondiebeachbabe · 27/01/2026 13:15

I'm amazed that so many women think that this is fine. I bet if there was a naked man in Tesco, or at the bus stop, or in the woods, that he would be arrested, so why do we think that a 100 men cycling naked is fine and dandy?

Most normal people wouldn't want to do this, so yes, I do think that those participating are getting some kind of thrill out of it. Anyone thinking otherwise is naive. They could easily have worn neon lycra, with their cause blazoned all over it, which would highlight the point they are trying to make. But no, here, have a look at my cock instead. 🙄

Tesco could enforce a dress code and ban the naked man

But a man simply being naked is not illegal. He might be arrested but he would be able to fight any charges and win (and there are documented cases of this)

There are also women taking part

Not everyone being naked is a sexual thing

And lycra emblazoned with a slogan isn't the same talking point nor highlighting the vulnerability

Is there a dress code in the woods? Is there a dress code in the street, or the local park? If not, then a man should be able to stroll through the park naked, yes?

Literally what I just said

It's entirely legal to be naked in public

It's not just a men's ride by the sounds of it though, it's women's too.
I have zero desire to see those wobbly bits either, it's not just a man thing!

Ask the naked rambler. He's been in and out of jail for years.

Because its all about context, an organised group ride is v dufferent
