just saw a thread on this on Twitter. Apparently her song ‘not such an innocent girl’ has gone to number 12. She has never had a number 1 single. They had it positively for her albeit the title of the song seems unfortunate.

some people think they are taking the piss; some people think they are showing support.

Just completely mindless and pointless.

I’ve seen the complete opposite.

Shes embarrassed about the song and the Beckham’s are trying to keep out of the public eye right now.

They are being very careful about what they do and don’t do which is why people are trying to force their hand to resound.

The people trying to get her to number 1 are taking the piss and trying to humiliate her.

There are people doing it because they dislike her and want to humiliate her.

And some because they like her and are trying to show their support by giving her money (although I still don’t understand how people think this is supporting her when she’d hate this).

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous and so unfair on the actual artists who have worked hard.
