I love talc after a bath and I know due to the health problems it's been pulled so I've been using baby powder but even that is becoming hard to find.
Where are you dusty ladies still getting it from?

The supermarket baby section.

unbelievablybelievable · 19/01/2026 16:45

Boots

Dweetfidilove · 19/01/2026 16:47

As above- supermarket baby section or Boots

muddyford · 19/01/2026 16:48

Baby section in Sainsbury's.

wetpebbles · 19/01/2026 16:50

Amazon

HeyThereDelila · 19/01/2026 16:50

Do not use it - it’s carcinogenic.

FadedRed · 19/01/2026 16:51

Used to be Boots, but they don’t always have the brand I like, so now I get it in bulk from Amazon. The ingredients changed from ‘talc’ to “Zea May starch’.

TheDandyLion · 19/01/2026 16:51

Tesco

BethBynnag86 · 19/01/2026 16:52

Femfresh from Ocado

I like the lavender cooling talc from snake brand. I think it's made in Thailand. I love the smell. Mainly use it under arms and on boob area.

rightoguvnor · 19/01/2026 17:01

I was using Cotton Tree body powder from Amazon for ages but that was unavailable last time I ran so I ordered a medicated one fro Amazon - not Cuticura that’s smells too medical, it’s in a yellow container and doesn’t smell too medicated at all. Very few powders contain talcum anymore, most are corn starch or something similar.
i find baby powders too laggy and they don’t smell nice.

Actual talc is, yes, but the stuff sold nowadays isn't actual talcum powder but is still called that. The label will probably say baby powder or something.

Maybe I'll have to do amazon then, annoying as I'm trying to use more actual shops. Or stock up if I'm in a boots/superdrug and they do seem to have it

ComtesseDeSpair · 19/01/2026 17:07

It’s available from Boots online - you can buy online for click and collect in store.

GinaandGin · 19/01/2026 17:09

If I'm feeling spenny I get a really nice talc out of lush
If not it's the Avon book

Allschoolsareartschools · 19/01/2026 17:09

Superdrug baby section is pretty good.
Otherwise shops like Home Bargains & Savers.
I miss M&S talcs!

LetticeProtheroe · 19/01/2026 17:10

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 19/01/2026 17:15

I got some from Home Bargains, Medipure sterilised. I think it's the one pp was referring to - it's in a yellow container.

cheapskatemum · 19/01/2026 17:27

The last lot I bought was Yardley & I found it in TK Max

imabitjealousandembarassed · 19/01/2026 17:38

Poundland usually sells Johnson's baby powder (in the baby section). Failing that,Amazon do it although it is a bit more expensive.
