Would IBU to start loudly playing some ads for headphones from my crappy tinny phone speakers on the train?

Given the number of other people blaring shite from their own they are unlikely to be affected much tbh.

What a nutter!

The worst for me is when someone has a toddler who they are pacifying with a tablet. I get that repetitive content is good for their development but my development is already complete and I have no need to hear it!

I’d describe the bloke in this article who says he listens to podcasts without headphones because he wants to spark debate as a self-important wanker but the Metro probably wouldn’t allow that in their comments.

And then they argue that it's noisy screen or crying, like their child only has 2 states of being

And we can all sing their favourite play aloud music as it happens.

I put my air pods in and play music to block out the noise from other passengers who do not seem to realise they are being antisocial!

Years ago an iPhone came with a charger and headphones, now you just get a cable!

I bought my Daughters new iPhones for Christmas and air pods so they wouldn’t be ‘those children’ on the school bus!

I sat next to a woman on the train yesterday who had ear phones on but talked about a potential inheritance she was about to receive. A grandparent had left her £300k in their will with another £300k - £500k+ due to her after the sale of property and assets.

All this was discussed on a busy commuter train with little concern for her security or privacy. I was amazed at how little concern the woman had about who else was listening in and that she'd made herself a target.
