Do people actually like it or force themselves to have it?

I like it. I don't get a strong sour or fermented taste, let alone anything like "sewer", etc. It tastes similar to natural plain yoghourt to me. I buy the unflavored drinkable kind and add fresh berries if I have them, otherwise fruit syrup. Kefir + elderberry syrup is supposed to be an almost ideal immunity booster; you can also add honey if needed.

I do but i grew up drinking it. It makes great pancakes too

I’m not a fan either, I want to like it but it’s too sour for me.

I really like the yeo valley plain yoghurt one. I have it with fruit or use it to make overnight oats with chia seeds.

I also like kombucha and kimchi - even my kids will eat Korean kimchi pancakes.

is it easy to do? I don’t know where to start. I’d love some pointers if you have the time please!

Yes of course. Easy once you get the hang of it. You will need to get some grains - I got mine of Amazon from freshly fermented. Then it’s just a case of adding milk and straining every one to two days. I have done it for over two years and find it beneficial for my health. You can join Facebook groups for tips. Good luck!

I love it!

Kefir and the like literally tastes like semen to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Vile stuff. So I do secretly judge people that love to drink it.

I love the Yeo Valley kefir yoghurt and actually use it instead of mayo to dunk stuff in.

If you're used to the super sweet flavoured yoghurts though then it is going to take some getting used to.

I'm actually quite addicted. And I mean to the bog standard unflavoured milk kefir. I have also made my own in the past, but I'm not a good mother, and my seeds always die.
