I have 2 "celebs" that I can't get enough of when I'm bored.

Both whom I used to admire but their behaviour and outlandish exploits can't make me tear my eyes away from their next catastrophes.

1. Megan Markle. Thought she was amazing breath of fresh air when she joined the RF. Guessed an amazing future for her. Admired her Feminst past (fairy liquid anyone) but just watch open mouthed as I read about her fake marriage, taking the piss out of curtsey to the queen and the way she treats Hazzza. Etc

From twerking and the woe is me media junkets I just can't get enough. I don't know anyone like her in real life and wonder why she thinks she knows better than anyone else. From her pregnant twerking to her stealing of dresses. I continue to be gobsmacked. The weird thing is, I'm not a royalist in any shape or form. Get rid of the motor then, I say!!

Don't give a shit what the rest of the them get up to. Except AMW. Although think he'll disappear into obscurity. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in one of her counselling sessions. What the fuck goes through her mind??

2. Katie Price , I was originally completely indifferent to her until IACGMOOFH, and saw a side of her of her that made me soften to her. But my god, the way she treats her animals, her kids and the endless fame and men chasing makes me want to know what goes through her head. The way she treats her poor eldest. No trust find squirrelled away for his future despite the millions she was taking in at one point. And siding him for views on social Media. Vile!

Blaming the government for not letting him stay at the Star centre. No love, they can only stay there 3 years and his time was up, what didn't you make sure he was financially protected? She again is a walking car crash and devour any media posts about her. Again not all the time, only when I'm bored.

Agree. She is clearly unwell …cannot understand why anyone would enjoy watching this car crash.

Given how he looks in photos, I'd say Harry spends most of his waking life smoking weed. The deleted picture of him at the Kardashian party, blearily staring at the boobs of the 70 year old whose star-studded birthday party he was at, was absolute, embarrassing perfection. Meghan must have had a fit when she saw it 😂

So on that note - Harry and Meghan's latest car crash YouTube videos are my guilty Saturday night post wine entertainment. And I'm far from alone given the speed the views on YouTube accumulate.

I actually quite liked Meghan when they married - and had a lot of sympathy for her being stuck with Harry - but bloody hell, the woman takes herself seriously 😁And the speed they have staff resign doesn't say anything good about them.

Because KP wasn't always 'unwell'...she was once a perfectly normal teenager who decided to take a certain path in life. She had options like we all do. Some of the choices she made have had a massive impact on her and her children, anyone who was around in her social area at the time will be able to tell you she made the wrong choices. It was nothing to do with being unwell.

I'm enjoying KP's downfall, she's nasty. Madonna is always good for a laugh.

The Stephen Hilton self destruction & watching him try to convince everyone on multiple platforms of lies he’s not even able to keep track of himself. There is a need for intervention as for quite a while he was taking all sense & guidance from an AI bot, claiming telepathy with his non-verbal autistic son, plus dark Only Fans videos & court cases with his ex Laura Clery. He has gone quiet the last few days so not sure if there’s something brewing.

I mean, I quite like Megs personally - certainly don't understand all the vitriolic animus against her....

I don't think it's realistic to characterise her as "just living her life". As if she is just quietly getting on with it, away from media attention.

She courts comment, all of these people do. I don't particularly mind any of them apart from the abusers, and Meghan isn't that. But I suppose, you live by the sword, you die by the the sword. Put your life out there for public discussion, and people are going to discuss! And form opinions. That's just human nature......

Well she alleges she was abused as a child and the way she just accepts poor treatment from her partners suggests something went wrong somewhere im inclined to believe there was an issue when she was young she was taken advantage of a lot especially by her management when she did her first show as Jordan I watched some of it I didn't like the manager then and I believe she is princesses manager now

I disagree about the always unwell comment. Even her early career is littered with very obvious issues and signs of being the victim of manipulation and abuse.

Maybe stop reading the absolute nonsense written about her? Why was she wrong about taking the piss out of herself about her poor curtsey? We have no way of knowing how she treats Harry.

That has been a pretty epic crash, I'm not really of fan of the posting all about their children's lives and details that they do but goodness she must be living on her nerves trying to deal with him since he relapsed, he is capable of doing absolutely anything

Poor sap Harry and mess he’s got himself into fascinates me. Surely he must miss his family. Surely he must want to come home. Can he not see how he’s been played? Past behaviour is a good indicator for future behaviour. He needs to forget about losing face and extricate himself asap

I don't understand how people can bear to watch the Laura Cleary/Stephen Hilton crap. They are both attention whores of the worst kind, that will take full advantage of their children in other to get more views. They are both, imo, awful people.

Their stuff used to pop up on my social media feed from time to time, but I've blocked them. And block them again when a new account finds it's way on to my social media, which thankfully hasn't for a while. (This is not me judging people for watching it btw, before anyone suggests it is. The judgement is solely on them. I did watch for a bit. I just do not want to be part of the reason that they continue making money this way)

I've heard there's been some drama surrounding the Peaty/Ramsay wedding, but I'm not interested enough to go googling to find out what it is. I did Google to find out who they are.

I think I may have seen an episode at some point - must look it up.

I fell into that rabbit hole when I was reading a lot of FreeJinger (forum devoted to fundie bloggers). I've nevr watched the show but I've read a lot about them including one of the daughters' books.

There was a definite golden age of that type of blogger. Some awful ones obsessed with adopting children from China and then disrupting/childswapping when the non-English speaking teenager wasn't instantly grateful to be in the USA. I started reading as it was unravelling and a few got into trouble with the law/adult children cut contact.

It's quite a saga, there were the poster family for polygamy at one point. Three sister wives and children ranging from teens down to babies, then a 4th wife joined and it all went pear shaped. A lot of blame is put on her but tbh I think these things often become more difficult when the children become older and don't blindly follow the 'leader' anymore, and he very much had a favourite wife (the 4th),Covid then completely blew things apart. The first 3 wives have all left him and sadly 1 son took his own life

I think this is a little bit mean. Carrie Hope Fletcher is a celebrity in her own right (as is her husband Joel Montague) both successful west end actors. I actually quite like her (even when she goes on one of her little instagram rants) But she's definitely not just famous because of Tom.

@SoddingSoda @Latenightreader the Duggars for me too - my gateway to the world of fundies. I’m still interested in them but it’s not the goldmine of fascination it once was. I started reading about them on TelevisionWithoutPity then watched Counting On and found FreeJinger too.

I loved the FreeJinger threads on MisforMama and her crazy firetrap house full of Anthropologie in particular, and keep an eye on the Rodrigues family and various others via Reddit. I read Jill Duggar’s book and thought it was excellent - I admire her courage.

I’m also mildly obsessed with Meghan and Harry. They are the gift that keeps on giving! Meghan with the upside down jam tongs was just amazing.

But also Lauryn Goodman - the one who had two babies after random hook ups with that footballer Kyle Walker. The way she just brazens it out and will not let her kids be side lined is kind of respect worthy tbh.
