I know you mean well, OP, but I genuinely disagree with ideas like this. They reinforce the notion that we need to change ourselves, when the focus should be on acceptance and celebrating who we already are.

I am going to try to declutter this year. I managed 4 months low spend with charity runs this year and even cancelled Amazon but found I was spending more buying in person and having to drive and pay for parking to get other things which cancelled out the carbon footprint I felt.

I quit drinking and smoking 2 years ago, so there's not much other than spending slightly recklessly at times that I feel bad about - no bad credit or debt. No relationship so no drama, which is how I like it! If I could do some community work that would make me feel useful, so I have looked into volunteering and hoping to start somewhere in Jan.
