Love the idea. I want to enter my crone era. Witchy hair, bog swamp, ungodly bench press.

I want to do this too!

I’m rebranding myself as someone who no longer gives a fuck about pleasing my unpleasable, bullying bosses and and going to do a degree, mainly as an excuse to step off the hamster wheel.

Yes girl! 💅🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

I rebranded myself this year at work by saying when I will retire, down to the actual date. Mentioned at every useful opportunity.

So no need or wish to rebrand in 2026.

Vaguelyclassical · 31/12/2025 19:45

We are not commercial products. We are human beings. We do not, therefore, need to use the vocabulary of big business advertising.
We may however wish to renew ourselves, redefine ourselves, reinvent ourselves, or simply just reaffirm how bloody wonderful we already are.

Take no more bullshit

My rebranding is a radical acceptance. I have physically aged a lot over this year, and felt all kinds of horror about it. But this year I start growing out the greys and thinking about what a middle aged me is like. What do I want to wear, what do I want to focus on. What childish things can I let go of, and what new things can I become. It feels weirdly exciting, like I can birth a new version of myself!

I like this

I may never read my way through the classics, but I will be happy posting my many thoughts on MN like it’s my personal diary and that’s actually okay!

in all seriousness, same

Lost all my hair to chemo in 2025. It’s now growing back so 2026 is going to be the year I learn to rock a pixie cut.

I'm not planning on changing anything. I'm far too lazy.

Hollieandtheivie · 31/12/2025 20:41

Loving the post about accepting what we have, rather than trying to battle ourselves.

Mine is related to saving/spending balance. Ive recently discovered Vinted and need to scale back on purchases after going full throttle. In my head I was thinking its more ethical so was giving myself the green light to spend. Now I want to think more about want versus need, and what am I trying to fulfil with purchases? So to be more intentional and thoughtful with my spending.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 31/12/2025 20:53

I think I will be stronger. An unapologetically so

I am super malleable and I don’t like that. Being strong doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, as I was raised to believe it is

There used to be a gavel?? 👀👀👀😄😄

It appeared very regularly but has fallen out of fashion. Possibly due to snowflake objections 🙄
