Did anyone else have a perfectly fine, or even nice, Christmas?

MN seems to be full of threads about awful husbands, families, and visitors.

Did anyone else have a perfectly fine/nice Christmas?

Mine was nice. I cooked for extended family and food was lovely, and low-stress. Family members were perfectly well behaved (even the more difficult characters!). Received some lovely presents, and gifts I gave were well-received.

All in all, a lovely Christmas.

Lovely. Didn't take time off work (in ME so only Christnas day off) so didnt get that horrible back to work or dont know what day it is feeling. Weather turned cold so went riding every day, did some much needed schooling. Work was quiet because all the expats off so caught up and was just the two of us at home and a load of pets and a foster kitten who needed bottle feeding. Very cosy. And then got an unexpected and useful bonus today which will cover a year's livery for the horse.

Yes lovely. Lots of laughter and games. Good food. Everyone happy.

I made £100 on online bingo while waiting for the Christmas dinner to be ready.

I found a bingo room that is 1 ticket per person and pays out 30x what you choose to bet. Usually it has around 40 people on average in it. But on Xmas morning there were only 12 of us in it so we were constantly winning money all morning until the room slowly filled up.

I cashed out my winnings and bought myself a new video game to play while everyone had an after dinner snooze.
