Daniella is having yet more surgery. I presume that she’s having it abroad as UK surgeons won’t touch her now. Same with Katie Price and numerous other celebrities.

Ive always had a bit of soft spot for the likes of Daniella. I loved her when she first came onto Eastenders. She was so young when she became famous, and it clearly destroyed her. I imagine that a lot of men made good money out of her and have dropped her like a stone now that she’s the way she is.

'The likes of Daniella'? I'd say she's pretty standalone and unique in her extreme physical symptoms of cocaine addiction. I've never seen anyone else that looks anywhere near as bad as that.

She just says what she thinks the press want to hear when she needs money. Every interview is about how her next surgery will finally fix her face, and how she's going to try and get back on EastEnders. It's just the same shite she's been spouting for decades now.

Similar in that respect to KP. Just keep selling the same shite stories about yourself over and over again.

I do feel sorry for them, they have ruined their own looks and lives, but that doesn't man one can't feel pity for them.
Maybe if they hadn't both found fame at such a young age, their lives would have been different.

Yes they've made some very bad choices but I suspect they were quite exploited when they were younger and now they're considered over the hill, fucked up and disposable.

Yeah you're not wrong there. But saying they can't do normal jobs is untrue. Daniella regularly worked in pubs over the last couple of decades.

She did one acting job so she's not too snobby to do normal stuff. She's just an addict and has been poisoned by the idea of easy money and attention.

I do have massive sympathy for the way young women were exploited by 'the industry' back in the 90s/00s. There was rife misogyny in the press and they happily encouraged the nervous breakdowns of Amy, Britney and many many others.

They are the architects of their own downfall .

I grew up in a pretty rough area. I know of several adults whose physical appearance has been negatively affected by years of drug abuse like her.

She was brilliant, but never made money like others.
And what she went through, losing her baby…

There are plenty of people who had less chances than them who have made a success of their lives. Both KP and DW have no one but themselves to blame.
I agree that young women were exploited in the 90s, but I believe it is greed that has driven those two to where they are now.

I'd say as a celebrity she is. By quite a long way. Especially compared to other women.

I have seen cases where the whole nose has totally collapsed through coke but not among women in the public eye.

Tbh I feel more sorry for katie piper as she's had to go through with surgeries because of a violent and abusive ex who took revenge, awful.

I'm not saying that drug taking or obsession with surgery isn't sad everyone has their own story but it was by choice so there has to be accountability too. Even kerry katona is open and honest and says the same about her own drug taking.

Too much fame too young and exploited.. But they did actively seek it too. Especially in the case of Katie Price.

I blame in the case of bad cosmetic surgery the surgeons. Surely it goes against their training as a doctor, who train to help humans, to cause so much damage to someone? They must recognise mental illness? Money really is the only important thing to some.

It makes me sad thinking of the life’s they, and their families could have lived (and Katie Price did at one point). DW started taking cocaine at a very young age, by her own admission, so I don’t think she’ll ever be completely clean. Her brain has been too damaged.

I feel bad for them too. I don’t blame men though. These women made more than enough money to retire by age 30. The problem is they have blown the money in lavish lifestyles, drugs, men, plastic surgery and so on. It’s really sad how once their lost their youth and looks, only then do they seem to realise that the money wouldn’t keep gushing into their accounts.

Sports stars have similar issues. They get too much money too young, waste it all and then wonder why they are broke at 35.

I don't pity Katie Price. Horrible, selfish woman. Her drink and drug driving offences could've killed people, she's shown absolute disrespect for British law (including tax payment), she abuses animals and uses/ neglects her children.

Nobody made her do any of the above.

I don’t feel sorry for either of them. They chose to make money through vain, selfish, hedonistic means and paid the price. Literally zero sympathy. Sorry.

I know who she is, this thread isn’t about her though. She’s nothing like Katie Price or Daniella Westbrook.

I think they’re pretty different scenarios aren’t they? KP seemingly has surgeries in a bid to look thinner, younger etc whereas DW actually had quite a severe facial deformity.

Whether that deformity was self inflicted or not, I understand why DW might want to try & correct it.

Have any of them sat down and thought, I need to get out of this mess? None of them is stupid. They could easily have taken what they had left and lived quietly and well, with a normal job to augment their savings.

It’s what the rest of us have to do. We don’t jet off to Turkey for yet more surgery at ludicrous cost in an attempt to breath life into another failed career resurrection.

They’ve all got another 40 years on the planet if they’re lucky. They are all still relatively young. They absolutely could just be fucking normal.

It’s also sad how many small companies she’s affected by not paying her debts to them yet when the media is running dry they often do interviews or have her on shows like Loose Women and I just don’t get why they think of her as an appropriate celeb to keep giving airtime to in light of all her offences!
