When one of the Dead Ringers did an impression of Keir Starmer on the RVP tonight there was alot of booing.
ITV kept it in too.
How embarrassing for Starmer.

Says alot though about what people think of Starmer.😀

Have you read anything I've posted about what is being done for business?

Additionally, improved workers rights and employment protection make life much better for those in employment.

Ik the policies and the figures. Have you looked at the most recent on graduate jobs? Today actually.

Upstartled · 22/12/2025 14:47

80% of people who think things are getting worse vs the 1% who think things are getting better tells you plenty about the booing too.

You're a full time job mate.

I wonder how many people know what's actually being done, how many people have measurable objectives and how many actually study metrics.

I was thinking the same of you with the endless Labour points. But ok graduate jobs has done it, not much more to say on how badly that’s going. Fine

😁 Right, that must be what it is. 🤣

Maybe thirty percent of people did know what was going on and then failed to know what's going on since October last year? 🤣

Graduate jobs are still above pre pandemic levels.

Yes, those lists of actions are pesky I'm sure when you have an axe to grind.

Did do seem remarkably unrealistic in your expectations of how quickly and universally things can be turned around.

If you only ever focus on the negative you will always see that.

If you relentlessly neglect to accept the positive, there is no point talking to you.

It was only a question.

Some people would laugh if the cats ass was on fire.

Surely it’s about results not actions. If graduate jobs are tanking, which today shows they are, it’s a problem.

You might not care or be immune not sure what job you do, but many in hospitality, trying to get work or just graduating do.

You'll learn, some people will jump on anything at all negative.

Must be draining.

If things are so bad, how come Labour support (across a number of polls) has the Tories behind Labour and Reform can gather barely 1 in 4 of voters?

PandoraSocks · 22/12/2025 14:59

Things are bad, there is no doubt about that. Labour is probably going to get a thumping in May. But some of the doom mongering is off the scale and, quite frankly, verging on paranoia.

The contortions to not see what is right under your nose is quite amusing.

Starmer is a joke. He's so disliked his own party are mobilising against him, party membership numbers are pitifully low now, and almost half the people who voted for him 18 months ago would not vote for him again. He's a real charmer.

Labour have twice as many members than the Tories.... still around 1/4 million.

Yep. It’s all fine. Great maybe don’t change it and see how voters feel.

It hit a peak of 530,000, it was 330,000 at the general election and so embarrassed is the party by its figures it decided to stop publishing them in April. Now it is 250,000. Is that your good news story?

With respect, I don’t have time for the faux naivety. I think you can work out why people against racism might use a derogatory term to describe these people.

Until you accept that you start from a false premise - i.e. that all those who are against illegal immigration are racists, coupled with your repeated use of the juvenile title of ‘flag shaggers’.

Difficult to take your position seriously.

The Tories are getting far more in donations than Labour. I wouldn't use party numbers as a guide to popularity.

I was going to say - all those members, and look at Labour’s poll ratings and Starmer’s and Reeves’s personal ratings….

Paranoia? How so @PandoraSocks

Upstartled · 22/12/2025 15:10

Labour is on course to get just 11% of votes in the Senedd. That would mirror exactly what it got in the Caerphilly election. They got 40% in 2021.

A bit different to boos. I’m sure it’ll rattle them.

Prometheus78 · 22/12/2025 15:16

Whilst we are on the subject of our pint-sized premier, I am frequently minded to recall N. Bonaparte’s supposed quote ‘never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake’.

Starmer has proven to excel at unforced errors, and own goals, so let’s hope the NY brings a fresh spell of them.

Terrible behaviour.
Why would an adult behave like this?
It wasn't funny.
I doubt politicians bother about idiots like this though.

I think half the nation were laughing, the other half are too angry with this government to laugh.

Starmer and his cronies have to go. They actively hate the countryside and everyone who lives in it. I’m all for humiliating a man leading a government that’s left 80 year old farmers contemplating suicide to keep together a farm needed to feed this country for the next generation. I hope Starmer feels humiliated- the country despises him!!! This is why the booing happened.

If it’s any consolation, they don’t just hate the rural community….

How long do you have? We can run through the others….it might take a while.
