To starve my teenage sons

Christmaswindows123 · 19/12/2025 21:26

All they have had to eat today is three eggs each on two pieces of sourdough with butter, hot chocolate with whole milk, dried mango, Christmas lunch at school, a lucaozade sport, a mince pie, three easy peelers, a banana, an apple, two sausages rolls, five quality street, a yo sushi JFC bucket each, and a portion of chicken noodles, a packet of wotsits and three lindor. They are both still hungry. AIBU to tell them not to call childline.

Only 3 Lindor? You monster.

🤣

BingBongMerrilyWithPie · 19/12/2025 21:30

What incredibly uniform teenagers you have.

Octavia64 · 19/12/2025 21:31

The poor dears they must be absolutely famished.

(it gets worse before it gets better!)

Mysticguru · 19/12/2025 21:50

Give them worming tablets

Clefable · 19/12/2025 21:51

YABU, they are clearly wasting away!

doomday · 19/12/2025 21:59

Ah yes my teenage son likes to tell relatives he is a starved neglected child. My MIL actually believes him!
I am waiting for someone to report me to children's services for this apparent lack of food for the growing boy.
🙄
Well today he went off to 6th form after breakfast with a lovingly prepared packed lunch then sloped off to town after school for pizza then came home and ate dinner. So obviously waisting away the poor child.

justpassmethemouse · 19/12/2025 22:02

Could they make a couple of cheese sandwiches? Sweets aren’t very filling, but must say the rest of the day sounds like a feast! 😍

zippydeedoo · 19/12/2025 22:03

🤣🤣. My youngest is nearly 6ft, and is as skinny as anything and all he does is eat! I honestly don't know where he puts it!?

ProseccoPie · 19/12/2025 22:03

Mine are the same!!!
They need more protein!!!!!!

Misscoffee · 19/12/2025 22:05

Teens you just cant fill them.

Snugglemonkey · 19/12/2025 22:06

Are they hungry though? If so, they need more.

Misscoffee · 19/12/2025 22:08

Wobblylegs1 · 19/12/2025 21:30

Only 3 Lindor? You monster.

🤣

Id call child line for that.

CharlotteFlax · 19/12/2025 22:12

What a bitch you are.

I'm the same. Totally starve my 16 year old son... and yet somehow spend all my money on food.

Chinsupmeloves · 19/12/2025 22:12

That's horrific, no wonder they're starving! My DH said he was constantly famished as a teenager, we have a pre teen who seems to be practising for this.

AngryBird6122 · 19/12/2025 22:13

Haha! You are a monster! They need feeding asap

JLou08 · 19/12/2025 22:15

Brilliant 🤣

Blankscreen · 19/12/2025 22:21

My 15 year old ds is Ike this. I used to read thread sand think 'oh yeah' but now I actually have one living in my house.

Ds has poached 4 eggs on sourdough every day for breakfast . He's on holidays so cooks up chicken breast rice and salad for lunch, 3 bananas, a HUGE bowl of natural yogurt with granola fruit and honey and we've been out for dinner. He had a 16oz rib eye steak, ate every last scrap on his plate and then finished mine off for good measure.

We've got in and he's having a pint of milk.

I can't keep up with the rate of consumption. When does it stop?????

Snugglemonkey · 19/12/2025 22:06

Are they hungry though? If so, they need more.

@Snugglemonkey

yes, OP , get cracking and make them a roast dinner…

they are more likely to be saying they’re hungry because they’re bored or because they want to eat because it’s nice or whatever rather than out of genuine hunger after all they’ve eaten today.

ShrankLastWinter · 19/12/2025 22:32

Mine has an entire oven pizza as an after school snack to keep him going until his mug of full fat milk with chocolate powder, which often gets him all the way to supper, with some supportive fruit and maybe a protein bar. So yeah, you’re definitely starving them

Rainallnight · 19/12/2025 22:33

And on Sunday, they ate one nice green leaf.

jaelato1 · 19/12/2025 22:37

Haha my teenage girls are absolutely the same. Their late night snack ramen noodle and egg Hmm

Dollymylove · 19/12/2025 22:39

Im on the phone to social services right now
( mother of 4 sons) 🤣🤣🤣

Bitofashock · 19/12/2025 22:46

Could you not make them a MN big salad? Would that help?

Lifejigsaw · 20/12/2025 08:59

Try explaining to them that they wouldn’t be hungry if theyd eaten any actual food since breakfast 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/12/2025 09:19

Seems to be a boy thing. My friends child is the same

he will often have a huge bowl of pasta /cheese - toast - porridge about 9 after his tea of huge meal at 730/8
