I’m treating myself to a drink in my favourite Christmassy pub. It’s been great so far but now a (I presume) family of six have come in. One of the women is being SO loud I can hear everything. I was enjoying the Christmas music, getting into the Christmas spirit etc . And now all I can hear is her braying on about who said what on Facebook. I don’t know how those closer to her are putting up with it.

I’m willing to bet she is also fake laughing at the top of her voice - HA HA HA. It’s because she needs you to KNOW she’s the life and soul of any party.

I feel your pain. Currently at the hairdresser where a young child is talking non stop in a high pitched voice, and breaking in to very out of tune sing song ugh 😩 my ears are hurting!

DH used to work in Reading. Regularly I would meet him from the office and we would go for a drink in a nice pub.
The pub would fill up with office workers and there was always one bloke who loved the sound of his own voice and had this high cerebral laugh. And this was different blokes too. I suppose every office has one
