We've had 2 birthdays in work today and I didn't join in with the singing of happy birthday. I hate it. Have a great day and all that but I don't feel the need to go and join in.

I also hate Christmas, it's a waste of money. Love the time with family but the rest of it can fuck off.

I also hate going for a wee and stopping for diesel.

What do you hate?

Terrible lighting in public spaces. Spotlights that glare straight into your eyes everywhere. Light should be diffused. I don't want to see the filament. This is why we invented lampshades.

People who assume I want to hold their newborn. It feels so inherently sexist. I've never seen anyone thrust their infant at DH or the men at work but the women are practically expected to crowd round and coo at them. I will absolutely there when they hit the toddler stage, but am not a fan of babies.

Also people who bring their newborn into the office.

Having to repeat myself.

I love a newborn cuddle! Yes, hand them to me.

The managers at Sainsbury's who think it's okay to have seven people/couples queuing for the sole staffed till.

Being asked to smile for photographs, Why should I smile if i really don't feel like it? I hate faking stuff for pictures.

Rats my cat has caught recently. One time she ran off with the dead one thank god, the other time she left it in the garden and I had to get a neighbour to dispose of it. I mean I don’t hate them as such but seeing a lovely dead one lying there makes me boak.

People who watch YouTube/ TikToks/Instagram reels/answer video calls on public transport. I’m curious to hear from these people as to why they think it’s ok to be so selfish! If you can afford a smart phone, you can afford headphones.

Anything to do with medical appointments and making medical appointments. Bring treated like you've got a hell of a cheek wanting to see a GP for the first time in four fucking years and they're really being very generous.

Women who make having kids their entire personality.

As a man you perhaps have no idea how often we see:

"Employed as a full time stay at home mummy" on dating apps.
