I know it’s early but I left my husband for a few hours yesterday, two cans of snow spray and asked him to do something nice with it on our front room window.. Came home to this, amazing stuff I think. Should I start pimping him out, would you pay for this, how much? If

Yeah, that's pretty impressive!

Kayahew · 22/11/2025 21:31

That’s amazing would definitely charge go on local Facebook community groups get a post on there with some prices see what happens x

mraladdinsir · 22/11/2025 21:36

I would pay £150-£200 for these (Manchester). Would be stunning on my conservatory! Where are you based?

Tahlbias · 22/11/2025 21:38

These are amazing 😍 I follow a person on TikTok who travels all over the country, painting windows at Xmas time.

I wondered this too, as when you search the images with google lens, some very, very similar pictures come up. The OP is going to post a video soon though - of her husband doing it, (she said so about 5 hours ago, that she would post it this evening,) to dispel any doubts people have of him doing it from scratch. Has he done it yet @OnToast81 and do you have the video ready to show us?

Edited

I was wondering this.
Just checking back in as OP had said the video was on its way.

Lonelycrab · 22/11/2025 21:42

Bloody impressive!

AgentPidge · 22/11/2025 21:44

He is very talented. Well done to him!

Mcoco · 22/11/2025 22:26

Amazing!

DetectiveDouche · 22/11/2025 22:34

Wow!! I'd have it!

OnToast81 · 22/11/2025 22:55

Here we go, I have a Timelapse video but it’s saying the video is to large to upload, im
not sure how to fix that.

Amazing! We had snow art on our bi fold doors last years and it was £250 for 5 doors. The lady who does it is fully booked in June for Christmas, he could really bring in the money!

ThankULord · 22/11/2025 23:06

Oh wow!
I repeat my earlier post, I would defo pay for that. Love it.

They are lovely. What does he do for a living?

That's a shame (re not seeing the actual video).
Still, they look remarkably crisp and he's improved even from yesterday.
And you didn't know he could do this until yesterday? He's so modest.

I knew he could draw, and sculpt as a hobby. He did a snowman one last year that was lovely but this is just amazingly beautiful in my opinion. When his friend suggested today that he could make money from doing it I could see he looked hesitant, Art is an enjoyable hobby to him and I think he’d rather keep it that way.

Oh my, he's ridiculously talented OP!

My friend's son does similar but he draws them into damp sand on the beach.

He's done loads of famous people like Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth and even an image of the last supper!

He uses a VR headset though so he's looking at the images while sketching them into the sand.

Sadworld23 · 22/11/2025 23:41

Brilliant.
Post the pics on your local FB group and wait for the requests to roll in.

A side hustle maybe for xmas spends.
A career maybe tricky.

Really? I sound mercenary probably but if he can do those Rupert characters in a few hours he could earn some nice Christmas money.
Even if you could manage to get an actual video of him doing it, that could potentially earn.
Otherwise (and, again, I'm cynical) others could probably produce templates from those pictures you're putting up.
Even Banksy uses templates.

OnToast81 · 22/11/2025 23:45

The Snowman from last Christmas. He also started a Grinch one but wasn’t happy with it and never finished it, I’ll post that too.

Yes, my retired, male neighbour does this type of thing every year for a local Special Needs School.

He has no artistic training but uses stencils. Is that what your husband used?

BlakeCarrington · 22/11/2025 23:48

YANBU, they’re really lovely. He should define start a side hustle with a view to local Christmas deca domination. They’re ace.

I’m going to post the timeline videos of him doing it on Tik Tok, there are hundreds of people doing this sort of thing already on Tik Tok but only one who I’ve seen that seems to have got himself a massive following.

Ah, right.
I'm not big on Tiktok.
It would just be a shame if his work was plagiarised.
