Do you believe that the universe sends you "signs"

to help you make the right choices?

I've found myself wondering about this. I'm not at all superstitious normally.

Over the last 5 years I've been trying to get a certain type of job on and off. Nothing special or unusual but there seems to be a huge conspiracy to stop it happening. There is the normal stuff like not being successful at interview or the advert being withdrawn but then I've been successful three (yes 3!!!) times and all of them havent panned out for me for different reasons. I applied for a post last week that I was feeing optimistic aboit but found out today that one of the directors has been arrested for embezelment (sp?) so I'll be withdrawing my application from that in case the business cant survive the financial impact.

But now Im wondering if I should just get the hint. 🤣 Maybe someone is telling me, that wouldnt be the right job for me. It would be a big change in direction for me.

I have no idea really. I do know that in times of problems I have had amazing solutions just appear. I have also learnt not to panic when life goes wrong, that things do come right even if it takes time. I have come to believe that what is for you, wont go past you, and so long as you remain true to yourself you will find peace. I think the universe saying is more common now that more people aren't religious. Used to here God provides etc when I was younger. Then Karma was all the rage, now it's the universe. As humans I think we like to look to something bigger than us when overwhelmed.

I feel the same way. It can be very confusing too, when I know logically I should be worried or stressed about something, but my subconscious just seems to know not to be. Can put me out of sync with other people involved too iykwim.

I applied for a job last summer that I really wanted, and after two interviews was waiting to hear. I was at home and suddenly had the feeling I would find out the outcome if I picked and opened a book at random (with my eyes shut) and pointed at a page.

I did this and the line I pointed at (in a novel) was "He's going to be terribly disappointed".

I'm not a 'he' but sadly the line was bang on - I didn't get the job.
