Is the way this Government is behaving normal for a Government?

I don’t remember briefings weeks before budgets telling us how bad they’d be, constant kite flying regarding tax raises almost immediately after one budget has ended, regularly finding ‘black holes’ that almost exactly match up to money they’ve just spent and constantly shifting definitions of who exactly those with ‘the broadest shoulders’ are.
YABU - Yes this has always happened
YANBU -No this is not ordinary

In much the same way younger people voted labour, as they tend to a more unrealistic ideology and lack the experience of life, especially when it comes to Labour Governments.

Looking at how badly the EU is doing, I'm glad we're out of it.

Although what is announced remains to be seen, the Tories leaked what they were actually going to do so we had a good idea ahead of the budget.

Labour played the first Budget close to their chest with actually comparatively few leaks, but this one have seem to thrown everything at the press to see what sticks - so we still have no idea what’s coming, which is causing a huge amount of uncertainty and unrest in various markets. The pre budget briefing is also new (but a sensible move), but was a pretty strong indicator that the changes will be breaking manifesto.
