Baby name remorse

I have name remorse for my 8 week old baby. Quite severely. Husband is being largely unsupportive. AIBU to expect that he would support my feelings and want to change it?

hello! I had this with my second, i actually didn't call him by his name for the first year really, as his 14m old sister called him buba- so that stuck until he was no longer a baby 😂 but i am glad i didn’t change his name, as he does really suit it.

We had two family names shortlisted when DS was born. DH advocated for one name and I agreed but slightly regretted it, although eventually it became his. Now I have a grandchild with my preferred name and that is even better.

Do they have a middle name you could use rather than entirely changing the name?

I purposely said I believe as I wasn’t 100 percent sure.
This is what is on the back of my son’s birth certificate. It states once your child has been baptised you cannot record a change to the Christian names given in baptism. I may have misinterpreted it somehow or rules may have changed since 2001.
