Bra for bigger chests

Where do you all buy your bra’s? I’ve tried M&S, supermarkets, Ann summers. None are comfy and supportive for a large chest. I have been looking for wider straps and side support, I wanted to ask here before trying online companies.

thanks in advance

Bravissimo. If you’re lucky enough to have one near you, their measuring is impeccable. I haven’t bought a bra from anywhere else in 15 years.

Squishysquash · 24/10/2025 19:36

Bravissimo if you're looking for a shop? What size are you?

Ratsinthefloorboards · 24/10/2025 19:38

Look for Fantasie brand; they are really excellent and suit many larger sizes.

I always buy from bravissimo - online - and find that fantasie dont have enough support for me

NancyJoan · 24/10/2025 19:44

Bravissimo, Brastop, John Lewis. Brands of choice are Fantasie, Panache and Bravissimo own brand.

OompaLoofah · 24/10/2025 19:46

Bravissimo or Brastop.com usually have a great selection for larger sizes. Flirtelle and fantasy are my go to as they go to quite a large cup size.

Seeline · 24/10/2025 19:47

Elomi bras on line or via Brastop website.

Titasaducksarse · 24/10/2025 19:48

Panache

MrsMoastyToasty · 24/10/2025 19:54

Go to an independent retailer. I know of one if you're near Bristol.

MrsLizzieDarcy · 24/10/2025 19:58

Elomi and Panache are my go-to's.

Iwanttoliveinagardencentre · 24/10/2025 20:00

If, like me, you are fed up with bloody underwires try online company Body & Bra. I love their comfortable molded bras. Give plenty of support for my GGs.

BuffaloCauliflower · 24/10/2025 20:05

The main issue with comfort is getting the right size, at least 85% of women are wearing the wrong size so I’d start there. Go to Bravissimo or measure using this calculator and read the bra fitting guides https://www.booborbust.com Once you know how a bra should fit it’s easier to find ones to fit.

I get all my bras in the sale on Brastop, but I’m good at fitting myself.

Bravissimo

Confuzzleduzzled · 24/10/2025 21:10

Another vote for bravissimo. However, once you find a style and size you love, use Vinted.

WellMaybeYouShouldntBeLivingHeeeeeeee · 24/10/2025 21:13

Bravissimo. The Millie bra is so comfy

HRTQueen · 24/10/2025 21:18

I would go and get measured in an independent shop (if you live in or close to London I know a few just send me a message)

they will find the right fitting bra for your shape. I have a small back and very large bust some bra makes in my size do not fit correctly at all and other like a glove

it’s really important especially with a larger bust to wear the right fitting bra

and M&S bras are made by different manufacturers so one style may suit you another not so much

Badgerstmary · 24/10/2025 21:32

Another one here for Bravissimo/independent bra shop.

Ihaveausername · 24/10/2025 22:17

After years of struggling finding the right one, and hating underwires. I have found body & bra. I have never worn a more comfortable and supportive bra.

Makingpeace · 24/10/2025 22:20

Another vote for Bravissimo or Boux Avenue.

See also https://www.booborbust.com/, they have a retailer list too.

Go to somewhere like bravissimo and be properly measured - see what styles and brands you feel best in and then go and buy online - eBay and Debenhams online great for brands like panache at bargain prices

WillowKnicks · 24/10/2025 23:21

I'm a qualified bra fitter & would recommend Elomi bras for a bigger cup size. The Morgan style is a really good one, plenty of support at the sides & a full cup.

I would also advise you to go to an independent shop to be properly fitted...not measured, as measuring with a tape measure doesn't work!

Florence4170 · 24/10/2025 23:49

Where do you live? I have just discovered Wacoal factory shop near Kettering. Great choice (I am 32GG) and lots of help to fit. I bought 3 bras. Wish I had bought more now.

1apenny2apenny · 25/10/2025 00:07

Elomi

justjuggling · 25/10/2025 05:22

Freya or m&S

Mikart · 25/10/2025 05:32

I'm 36G and like Prima Donna bras. I go to an independent fitter.
Spent 2 hours in Bravissimo and nothing fitted.
