Bra for bigger chests

Where do you all buy your bra’s? I’ve tried M&S, supermarkets, Ann summers. None are comfy and supportive for a large chest. I have been looking for wider straps and side support, I wanted to ask here before trying online companies.

thanks in advance

I’ve given up on traditional bras and have started wearing Molke bras. They look more like a crop top but they give great support for a larger chest.

Bravissimo, Brastop, John Lewis. Brands of choice are Fantasie, Panache and Bravissimo own brand.

Same

Prima Donna Bras from Rigby and Peller

I recommend you follow an Instagram account called 'Fairlie Curved'. It gives styling advice and tips for woman with bigger busts and she also has a website selling beautiful clothes that are suited to a fuller bust.

Another vote for Bravissimo. Always wear there own make too.

Honestly.... theres a back smoothing bra that goes up to a H cup in primark.... (moulded and underwired) best bra ive had for comfort and ive tried most places

As a 34JJ I wear Elomi and Panache. Ordered from BraStop usually. The Matilda is brilliant, or Envy or Priya.
Main thing is to make sure you have the correct size. Boob or Bust is great for getting a starting size and they can advise which brands/styles are slightly different in sizing. (Matilda is usually a cup big for example)

Rocknrollstar · 25/10/2025 08:26

I would recommend Fantasie which I always bought at Bravissimo. BUT if you can afford it go to Rigby and Peller.

@IhaveausernameI am a 38gg. What size do you buy because I just ordered from body and bra a size 2xl and although supremely comfortable there is no support!

HostaCentral · 25/10/2025 08:38

Bravissimo Millie. Also had Fanatasie and Panache. I am a 32HH and always wear balcony. Full cups don't fit me, they bag, so despite big boobs, you alsio need to get the shape right. Can't wear anything "comfortable" as get a huge mono boob.

I needed 4xl as bigger band size but I also think it depends on style. I found the supportive comfort has more support than the breathable support. These are the only 2 I have tried.

Elomi, Goddess,Freya, Bravissimo. I find Amplebosom www.amplebosom.com/bra/a-side-support has a good range but also there are some real gems from Bravissimo. If you have shoulder pain, their Alicia bra is great https://www.bravissimo.com/products/alicia-bra-lg145/#black-lg145blk and really helps distribute the weight. I have also accepted that I have to have some bras for wearing 'out' - that are comfortable enough but when I get home I change into something more relaxed, but less shapely!

Alicia Bra by Bravissimo | Black | Full Cup Bra

Discover the new Alicia bra! Made with stretch lace for added comfort and an extra magnetic clasp at the back means this style keeps your straps hidden under racerback tops!

We have a fab independent shop near us. She fitted me in a brand called panache. They fit well.

Bigcat25 · 31/10/2025 13:10

I like Primma Donna. Great quality and a more rounded and reinforced wire. They're expensive but durable.

I'm a qualified bra fitter & would recommend Elomi bras for a bigger cup size. The Morgan style is a really good one, plenty of support at the sides & a full cup.

I would also advise you to go to an independent shop to be properly fitted...not measured, as measuring with a tape measure doesn't work!

Thank you so much. I bought the Morgan bra however it didn’t give enough side support. Could you recommend another style please?

Just bought 2 Empreinte bras in Rigby and Peller. So pretty. I normally wear Prima Donna satin but wanted something different. Currently lying down after paying for them
