Grim. DS is 18 and I’m not that much past 50. I can’t imagine thinking of any of his friends in that way. Nor his friends’ mums looking at him in that way.

Well its not paedophilia as the young person is over the age of consent, but 50/18 is just distasteful whatever sex the participants are.

I find it gross. I'm not far off 50yrs, my kids are 18&14yrs.
One of my exes is 50, the idea of him laying a finger on my 18yr old girl makes me feel sick. And as for my 14yr old, the idea that a woman my age would want to sleep with him in 4yrs is pretty horrid.

Some 18yr olds view women as objects to have sex with, just like (some) men of any age do. I work with some military men through a sport. I can think of 18 yo blokes who've been to visit brothels and deliberately had sex with much older women as a bet / dare. Same goes for pulling an old / unattractive woman on a night out. Men, especially in groups, can be vile, in a way women rarely are.

Please state what stats your talking about as 97% of sexual offences are committed by men in the UK Ergo your 20% of pedophiles being female is a non starter.
