To think Karen Carpenter was nothing short of extraordinary?

What a woman! Her voice gets me everytime. I saw a brilliant documentary a long time ago. Such a sad life but he talents were just incredible.

I can’t carry a tune and am pretty much tone deaf. But even I can tell there was something special about her voice.

So tragic that AN gripped her and swallowed her whole. Not sure if this was evident from her teens or only took hold later in life when maybe her emotional environment was unsupportive.

An absolute deep 360 genius and talent.

She was incredible. There was a documentary on TV the other day that I caught at my Dad's house, wonderfully talented, in fact gifted lady. Sadly missed.

To this day she is still in my top 3 most beautiful voices. The irony she started as being the drummer.
