Nearly 500 arrested for support for Palestinian Action Group a proscribed terrorist organisation

NototerrorismIntheUK · 05/10/2025 09:16

This is getting ridiculous. The same group, think they can do what they want which includes, using a sledgehammer to attack a person, breaking into a military base and causing millions of pounds worth of damage. Hatred towards Jewish people.

It appears these people feel the law doesn't apply to them. None of the above is peaceful protest. Stronger sentences or fines are needed.

If Israel are genuinely in the right and the starving babies and burnt children are AI generated or whatever it is you believe.

Why would a country with the moral highground need to pay to convince public opinion of such? And why would Israel need to use 'misinformation' to convince people?

Brexit was a terrible idea. Hence why we needed to be convinced to vote for it.

It's important people don't conflate all Jewish people with the actions of the Israeli state.

Most Jewish people in America don't actually have support for Netanyahu's govt and they believe Israel is committing war crimes.

Poll: American Jews critical of Israel

Recent findings by a major US publication show most Jews in the US say Israel is committing war crimes, and 39 percent say genocide.

What a strange post with very emotive language. Most people understand that Hamas launched this latest war knowing their own nation would suffer the consequences, and they couldn’t care less sitting in luxury in Qatar being paid by Iran.

One person's perspective and you're putting that above all these people who go out every weekend and risk arrest.

The Matthew Syed who said Nigel Farage is a socialist?

The one who openly supports Israel.

Seems totally non-biased. You should totally go all in with that. Have you ever read anything about how to think, critically? I think you'd possibly benefit.

Protest isn't illegal so why are they risking arrest? Are they supporting terrorists? Are the assaulting police officers? If not, then where does the risk of arrest come from?

I've seen enough videos of people on the marches being unable to answer basic questions like 'which river and which sea are you chanting about?' Or 'what's a Zionist?' Or physically attacking that guy who had the sign 'Hamas are terrorists' or talking about how they support Hamas, to believe his version of events over anyone who claims that the people on the marches are all political experts without even the slightest hint of an antisemitic bone in their body.

SomethingFun · 06/10/2025 15:18

Oh fgs I’m stopping now as this thread is ridiculous. I’m clearly a real poster and I’m upset with the blatant antisemitism on these types of threads. There is no good or bad side in this war (or any war) so the stance of ‘anyone who disagrees with me on any aspect of the Israel/Palestine conflict is a baby hating, evil, murdering, racist, Nigel Farage loving flagshagger’ is not the coherent adult argument you think it is. Have some introspection and question your beliefs and motives. But you’ve worn me down with your bullshit, so best of luck with your tinfoil hats and your thinly veiled prejudice. Hopefully we’ll never run into each other again.

It is a cult of brainwashed do gooders (doing great harm) howling with total incoherence. Clearly most of us are horrified at the anti semitism, but I’m afraid you won’t get through to them. They can’t answer basic questions even.

Hopefully this helps you. I can't believe you're so passionate for your cause but then did so little background research.

Please stop pretending those being critical of Israel are anti-semitic.

It's grossly offensive and dangerous to pretend that Israel's actions are connected to all Jewish people.

All Israeli people are not supportive of their govt either. It's the actions of their govt, many people have an issue with.

No. Most people realise that this didn't start on October 7th.

I mean there's videos of the protests on YouTube and the only people people aggressive are those disagreeing with them.

But yes, I don't find you a credible source for information.

I find you adapt and manipulate the truth to suit your own narrative.

Do you know me? Is there a video of the rampaging thugs in Liverpool on YouTube? I have no narrative, I just say as I see. That must be difficult for you to understand. I must say it's come to something when I'm called a liar by some random just because they don't like what's really happening. I was called a liar when I posted about going to the Southport vigil at the town hall and mentioned the knifeman arrested nearby. There's a particular type of delusion revelled in by the Palestine protesters and it's sadly found on this site too.

This is literally it. They rely on wearing people down, or just making people bored with then so they leave threads and crack on with real life. Probably counts as a victory. But it doesn't change opinions and in my case it just reinforces my rational disgust at their words and behaviour. The internet really can be the worst of humanity.

I take it there were arrests, a news article even?

Any links?

No. I just genuinely don't like genocide. Terrible isn't it.

I have no idea if there will be arrests. The fact remains that I was in the middle of the thugs and my daughter was targeted. I very much hope there will be arrests.

Good job there isn't one in Gaza. Palestine tried to start one against Israel though. Do you care about actual genocides going on right now?

We've already been through the why do you care about this genocide when there's other genocides argument it's earlier in the thread. It's always seems to be the same arguments. In my head you're all using flowcharts 😂

The UN has confirmed it is a genocide.

I know you'll say who'd trust the UN... But they're a million times more reliable that Israel have been with their 'findings'. (George Galloway, the wee stowaway 😂)

Weird there doesn't seem to be any police reports of disturbances or news articles.

No, the UN hasn't confirmed it's a genocide.

The UN International Independent Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory including East Jerusalem and Israel, made up of three independent human rights lawyers appointed by the HRC- all of whom have a long history of extreme anti-Israel bias and antisemitism- have released their findings that in their opinion it's a genocide.

Words actually do matter.

Just because we all don't think like you doesn't mean we have been infiltrated. Such a sloppy comment.

The UN have stated that Israel has committed genocide. Re-wording it does not make it sound better.

ThatCyanCat · 06/10/2025 17:22

It's the only genocide I've ever heard of where there's humming and ha-ing and but-but-butting about taking the deal that will make it stop.

I knew Hamas doesn't give a shit about Palestinians and will happily see any number killed if they think it could be weaponised against Israel, but I did think the pro Palestinian demonstrators elsewhere would be keener to take an immediate deal to keep Palestinians safe, flood Gaza with aid and then get to work on the longer term plan. Apparently not.
