Nearly 500 arrested for support for Palestinian Action Group a proscribed terrorist organisation

This is getting ridiculous. The same group, think they can do what they want which includes, using a sledgehammer to attack a person, breaking into a military base and causing millions of pounds worth of damage. Hatred towards Jewish people.

It appears these people feel the law doesn't apply to them. None of the above is peaceful protest. Stronger sentences or fines are needed.

They were holding signs saying they support a proscribed terrorist organisation. The police had no choice but to arrest them and the protesters knew that. That's exactly what they wanted. They wanted the optics of 'poor elderly infirm' people being arrested.

Those complaining about these arrests are opening a door to people voicing support with impunity for organisations such as National Action, ISIL, Manics Murder Cult, Warner group etc etc

Be careful what you wish for.

Cantspeakwontspeak · 05/10/2025 09:42

They are not interested in peace - what are they going to do if the peace deal on the table goes through? I suspect most of them don’t even know anything about it just people with too much time on thier hands and a lot of hatred. I like the idea of fines to cover the cost of policing and their arrests.

the cable street riots in the 30s were eventually stopped but were this popular at first.

@nomas you are all over the threads so a bit rich calling others bots.

I wish Palestine people were free from hamas to live without their government lobbing missiles at Israel for years and years. Both sides could do without their leaders. Then again Sudan, Yeman, Lebanon all have serious terrorist problems too.

In the article I quoted, it says Israeli government is worried its losing public opinion. They’re ramping it for sure. The next battle ground is TikTok.

Take it up with mnhq, rather than accuse the op.

They definitely know what they are doing.

The two other groups proscribed at the same time as Palestine Action were:

  1. Maniacs Murder Cult (MMC)
  2. Russian Imperial Movement (RIM)
MPs didn’t have the opportunity to vote on the groups separately. So as an MP it wasn’t possible to vote yes to proscribing Maniacs Murder Cult, yes to proscribing Russian Imperial Movement, and no to proscribing Palestine Action. It was all three or none.

I don’t feel the need to name change though. Why have you name changed for this thread?

I'm just a UK citizen and was caught in the screaming and chanting several months ago when visiting London, it was awful. Palestinian Action support want to shut down anyone who doesn't agree with them. I don't think breaking into a military base in the UK is a great thing to do. Where does it end?

Do you actually have ANYTHING to say about the topic or just slurs and accusations?

The Battle of Cable Street was a direct response to Mosley denouncing Jews who had fled Nazi Germany. Should they have just allowed Jewish refugees feel in fear of their lives? Stayed home and watch Mosley and his gang wander the East End threatening Jews?

Of course they could have voted against it. The Home Office could have laid a new SI without Palestine Action on it within a day if MPs had pressed the matter.

They have the same mindset as Extinction Rebellion. And, actually, I think they are doing damage to their chosen cause, rather then helping it.

No one is above the law.

They are the same people. It’s no coincidence that extinction rebellion has gone quiet since these protests have started and if by some miracle a peace deal is made they’ll go back to blocking roads until the next cause is decided.

TravelPanic · 05/10/2025 09:53

Police are wasting their own time arresting elderly people. Funny how if you call to report a burglary they do bugger all! I have numerous friends who’ve had things stolen in London and I was once sexually assaulted on the tube. Police did nothing in any of these cases. But someone sat down holding a sign is apparently a huge threat and must be dealt with immediately?! Fascist state approaching…
