Nearly 500 arrested for support for Palestinian Action Group a proscribed terrorist organisation

This is getting ridiculous. The same group, think they can do what they want which includes, using a sledgehammer to attack a person, breaking into a military base and causing millions of pounds worth of damage. Hatred towards Jewish people.

It appears these people feel the law doesn't apply to them. None of the above is peaceful protest. Stronger sentences or fines are needed.

Israel have ‘infiltrated’ our government have they? Do they run all the banks as well ffs. I’m ashamed to be talking to people who come out with shit like this.

If they really want to follow the money, they're looking in the wrong place.

It's factual. They funded a quarter of our MP's.

Israel lobby funded a quarter of British MPs

Exclusive: Declassified is publishing the full list of British MPs who received funding from pro-Israel lobbyists.

Lobbying from all foreign countries should be banned, regardless.

Supporting Israel wasn't used as a slur it was stating that you're not going to get an unbiased opinion from there so to base your own opinion from him would make your pov biased and worthless.

I'm certainly not getting an unbiased opinion from you. I couldn't really give a toss about Israel or Palestine, they're 3000 miles away and Palestine getting beaten in its war is hardly the worst thing going on in the world.

I do however care about the rampaging, violent, racist thugs we've allowed to run riot in this country for years.

You think Israel is winning?

I mean they may have killed the most people but they've made themselves the most hated country on the planet.

I suggest you read a few history books. The Israeli settlers actually take homes built by Palestinians and have been in their families for generations. As you know and are fine with. Says a lot about you, really.

Why would Israel be the most hated country on the planet? You're projecting your own very unpleasant prejudices. If I had to 'hate' a country, which I don't because it's silly, I'd pick Russia, China or Afghanistan myself. But like I said, I wouldn't 'hate' them.

Taken from an article:

A new global survey from the US-based Pew Research Center indicates just how unpopular it has become, especially in the North American and European states where Tel Aviv has always drawn its main sources of financial, military and political support.
“In 20 of the 24 countries surveyed, around half of adults or more have an unfavorable view of Israel,” Pew reported on 3 June. “Around three-quarters or more hold this view in Australia, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.”
Pew says it last asked the question in 10 of the countries included in its new survey in 2013. “In seven of these countries, the share of adults with a negative view of Israel has increased significantly.”
Israel was most unpopular in Turkey, with 93 percent of respondents viewing it unfavorably. Turkey was the only country in the immediate region of Palestine to be surveyed by Pew.

For someone who doesn't care about Israel or Palestine you seem to talk an awful lot about it 🤔

It’s a thread about the Isreal Palestine conflict

The way Israel has infiltrated our govt is not democratic.

And do the Rothschilds run America too?

And is this the same government who have recently recognised Palestine?

Do you think they are the same group? To be fair, I haven't seen a just stop oil blockade the streets for a while

Inform yourself before jumping to conclusions.

Just Stop Oil announced earlier this year they were changing tack, to lower risk campaigning.

Don't spread disinformation.

I'm free to talk about whatever I want. The thread was actually about the Palestine Action-supporting thugs if you hadn't noticed, a rabble with whom I had the misfortune to cross paths with a few days ago.

Ionlymakejokestodistractmyself · 06/10/2025 12:59

There's was a video of an elderly woman at the protests that I found made a lot of sense, saying the awful incident at the synagogue was terrorism and should rightfully be treated as such, and sitting peacefully with a sign should not be classed as the same.

This has become just as much about protesting draconian laws as it is about Palestine Action.

Just watched this and it looks pretty peaceful actually.

WestwardHo1 · 06/10/2025 12:59

Do you honestly think things like this feature on the radar of most of those marchers? The ones who Matthew Syed spoke to, who weren't actually aware of the current peace deal that Trump is among others trying to broker? (TRUMP = BAD). The ones who danced in delight at the news that people have been murdered at a synagogue? The ones who refused to countenance, even for a day, a delay in proceedings in order that those affected may mourn their dead and come to terms with the fact that in the UK they are manifestly no longer welcome or even safe (and please don't come back at me with "yeah but Palestinian children"). And the ones who are so convinced that they are moral crusaders it appears to have withered their intellect.

And yet we are the BAD people who are not sitting on the right side of history with our wholehearted support of the "Free Palestine, from the river to the sea" rhetoric?

So? If you did a survey in the UK about countries there would be a net unfavourable opinion of France, Germany, America and loads of other places. France would probably have an unfavourable opinion of us. It's how surveys go.

Yep utter thugs.

A negative experience with a group of people does not mean the entirety of that group is negative.

A revolutionary idea for you.

SomethingFun · 06/10/2025 13:09

‘infiltrate’ is a very different word with very different connotations than ‘lobby’ as well you know.

What was stopping those protesters not writing ‘Action’ on their placards? It’s that one extra word that got them arrested. Or do they not know it was designated a terrorist group when they were booking their hotels and coaches?

Oh come off it! The thugs I saw weren't outliers, they were bog standard hate marchers. There's plenty of footage available of what they're all like. Palestine Action is a terrorist group who carried home made weapons and attacked police with sledgehammers. Anyone who supports them has a broken moral compass.

I actually don't know the family you were speaking about. It's weird that you'd just bring them up out of no where and then pretend to be offended.

Odd.
