AIBU to suggest that knowingly allowing me to open skimpy lingerie in front of my MIL was a big no no by my Husband? I have never wished the ground would open up and swallow me like I did with this. It’s three days on and I am still cringing. He hasn’t even acknowledged this and just says she isn’t a prude and knows what happens in relationships!

Ask him how he expects to get any action whilst your wearing them when all they will make you think of is his mother! 😂

I really don’t see the problem. It wouldn’t have bothered me in the slightest if my mother in law had been there if I’d been given some nice underwear to open. To still be worrying about this three days later is something of an over reaction! 😆😆

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this opinion and get told women like to dress up sexy for their men etc., but honestly, if my husband bought me any kind of underwear for my birthday, well he'd be taking it straight back. Luckily he wouldn't as his gifts are more thoughtful.
