Bonkers African Tribe in Scottish Woodland Claiming Ancestral Rights

I mean at best this story is utterly bonkers. A pair of chancers with a string of scams behind them and a now dropped child cruelty charge, set up home in private Shottish woodland claiming the land was stolen from their ancestors 400 years ago. There's not a shred of evidence to substantiate this claim.

The so called Kingdom of Kubala. One from Ghana, one from Zimbabwe and one from Texas, I mean that's a pretty wide Ancestral gene base for them all to have been descended from, but hey ho.

Headed by career scammer Kofi Offeh and his dodgy as fuck partner Jean Gasho, aka King Atehehe and Queen Nandi, earlier this year they paid for a one way ticket to fly a vulnerable 21 year old Texan girl named Kaura Taylor to the UK who became their so called handmaiden 'Asnat'. Her family claim they started grooming the aspiring lawyer online when she was 19. This is blatant coersion and control being played out on the national news.

After being evicted from private land they set up another camp just over the fence on council land making a mockery of the authorities and seem untouchable. They have now been evicted for a second time. There is a whole history of the two main characters being involved in scams of one kind or another, in one of which they claim to be millionaires and in May this year they flew over their equally delusional 'Handmaiden' from Texas to keep their tent clean for them. Millionaires who live in the bushes and will only speak to reporters in exchange for offerings or Irn Bru and Tunnocks Tea Cakes it seems.

The poor girl seems utterly brainwashed. Her mother is now pleading with the authorities to deport her daughter back to America. How exactly has this farce been allowed to continue in a Scottish Woodland for so long? Surely there's an immigration issue at the very least with the young girl this bonkers King and Queen paid to fly over to the UK? I mean can anyone just fly over from Texas and stay here indefinitely?

This whole tale is absolute madness. I mean what the actual fuck? Am I being unreasonable or should this whole shit show have been stamped on months ago & the 21 year old been put on a flight straight back home to keep her away from this pair of freaks? My greatest worry with her is these scammers will bring her straight back here to continue coercing and controlling her as soon as she is returned home.

If she had a child and the child was removed, there will be care proceedings going on in the family courts which is private to the child. The child could be back in America, could be in UK foster care, could be with a family friend in the UK.

I am not fully up to speed with the ins and outs of the story but it appears to be the "King" and "Queen" who have had children removed.

Apparently, their 'handmaiden' has had a one year old daughter removed from her care since she arrived in the UK.

I'm wondering if they are just doing this to create income from their infamy and resulting social media following. It's all too ridiculous to find another reason imo. They come across as very fake

there is lots of confusion around this to protect the privacy of the children who have been removed, from whatever parents. It's not great though, there is clearly a long history here of people who are unwell and anti-establishment. And yes, lots of parallels to the Marten case.

She is perhaps not here illegally. And now evicted, free to go about her business.

I know there re two sides to every story but I also really feel for this girl's family if this is true. Their daughter gone and their granddaughter in care. They seem frantic to get her home but what can they do?

Sadly, the live and let live issue was blown apart by them.

the constant attention on social media, live streams, requests for power banks, ice cream, lamb, food, so on and the utter disregard for process has made this unsustainable.

either, live very quietly and nobody would have cared, or the local authority needs to deal with it in whichever way.

the problem we now have is the sheer amount of money that has been spent on this nonsense, police, welfare checks, sheriff officers, local authority, court actions, private court actions, legal fees.

Jedburgh swimming pool closed due to lack of council funding, nurseries are being mothballed, there is no money, and now thousands have been spent on this.

Due to the human nature of people, many vulnerable people have given things, things they cannot afford. Yet see someone they deem worse off.

Before people start calling them harmless or eccentric I want to draw your attention to the fact that the fact that the first American girl who came to them, died while allegedly running away from Kofi once she went back to the US. Jean and Kofi followed her back there and no one knows what happened to her baby. Google “A’liya Johnson Oklahoma” for that story and the other receipts were on TikTok.

I’ve been following the goings on of this couple for 3 years now and most people on here don’t know about Jean’s 8 children who were removed by SS, the psychotic behaviour which led to those children being removed much of which was live streamed on Facebook, final adoption orders being made for the youngest children and name changes to protect them following the couple going to the foster home screaming, the fact that the hung a sign above their last residence in Stockton saying “your children shall be dashed to pieces” and that the girl with them now is at least the second vulnerable young girl to be used by them as a breeding vessel and slave.

Yes her baby is in the care of SS in the UK currently and her family in the US are trying to get her back. Jean posted photos of herself with the baby strapped to her back. I’m particularly concerned given that no one knows where the baby of the first American girl is, including her own family.

I’ve been watching all the videos on TikTok for ages. I don’t actually think there’s mental health issues at all. I don’t believe that they actually believe they’re a tribe. I think they will do and say anything to get what they want. I’ve seen videos where Jean hasn’t realised she’s being filmed and is talking normally, sees the camera, puts in a fake accent and starts chanting about Kabala.

ive seen plenty of videos from the poor woman who owns the horse in the field next door who is stressed out by it all (the horse). Jean was frequently making videos where they were in the horse field pestering the horse. The horse’s asthma has flared up due to the constant bonfire smoke and is having to have daily nebulisers now!

Glad to see they’ve all been bundled off in police /immigration vans yesterday. Well two of them…..I think Jean is British so immigration can’t touch her.

I think two of them won’t be entitled to benefits though Jean will be. Someone in the local town has been feeding them. Taking food up, etc.

I just can’t fathom what it actually is that they want. I mean long term with there not being a scrap of evidence to support their bonkers claim about the land being stolen from their ancestors. Given their history of various scams I think this is just another one and all the online activity was a way to try and generate revenue. Perhaps they thought people would throw a lot more money at them but given all costs of the evictions have been awarded against them they are going to be potless now anyway. I mean it did make them some money but certainly not enough to make it a worthwhile scam.
