Migrants get up to £2000 on bankcard after prison sentences

Ihatetomatoes · 24/09/2025 22:14

Just watched 47 migrants being deported, costing hundreds of thousands, private flights, huge number of security guards, the migrants then get given cash cards! Back to Romania after committing crimes here including murder, sexual offences, pedophiles with money to help them resettle in their own country.

ITV news - our own go hungry and cold.

We are total mugs here in the UK.

On a separate story migrants having taxis to appointments, free NHS. I mean we have to get to our own way.

Mugs. No wonder many people are unhappy. These are convicted criminals, being pandered to.

@keeptalkinghappytalk hello, you mentioned that the money could partially go to help our homeless, how would you propose that?

leahglass · 25/09/2025 06:25

It's 'borders', not 'boarders'.

HTH.

More than happy to welcome immigrants who come here to work and we know who they are and where they are from. If they turn out to be criminals, then they should be deported forcefully.

Not so happy to host people who ditch their identification/docs. We should know who is entering our country, so we can be sure they aren’t criminals.

Who is ditching their documents?
The ones mentioned on this thread who are being deported have documents.

Theoturkeyistheonlyturkeyonmytable · 25/09/2025 06:10

Yeah ..untill they use that money to come back on a boat ..
Who knows at what point they get finger printed when getting of the boat ,if at all knowing this government..it's probably a violation of their human rights to be finger printed on arrival

Bios are done on landing/at asylum claim. If no bios are done that means they didn’t claim asylum, aren’t here legally and are getting zilch from the taxpayer

Agreed. They must have documents or the receiving country wouldn’t take them - they mainly require proof of citizenship to accept returns. As would the U.K. before you worry.

That’s not entirely true is it. Sadly they will be living in the black market. They will still have access to hostels, hospitals, food banks and all kinds of services. I am realy amazed that anyone can see any of this as a positive. It’s an absolute unfolding crisis of the magnitude some people on here seem to be missing.

Yes the 0.3% spent on asylum seekers by the government- it’s going to turn us into Utopia!
it’s local councils who deal with homelessness, do use hotels. Some homeless have problems that can’t be solved. Otherwise it’s the housing market driven to ridiculous prices by our economic/sell off social housing policies over the years. It’s definitely not caused by migrants.

The government are paying out BILLIONS to economic migrants what on earth are you talking about? Of course that money could be better spent on hospitals and social care.

They don’t have access to healthcare (except angel potentially) nor food banks, or anything. You need referrals, or proof of LTR for any of these things.
I’m not advocating the black market at all but you can be assured they’re forced to rely on their own resources.

So. Judge & jury & conviction without due process. FFS hello 1939 - how you been.? My papa didn’t die for you lot to clap welcome to fascism in the uk

But they are convicted criminals. There has already been a judge and jury that's the whole point.

We do not turn people away at our emergency departments or soup kitchens. Do you even live here???

Yes it is billions on hotels, but actually it is a fact that only 0.3% of their public purse/spending that goes on asylum. This wouldn’t make so much difference after all would it when you consider the many BILLIONS that are used in other areas.
But like the £350 million a week from Brexit to the NHS is the reality.

Nestingbirds · 25/09/2025 06:50

I despair at the sheer lack of education and understanding on this thread. Bloody hell. Do these people actually vote?! No wonder we are in the shit.

Quackcow · 25/09/2025 06:50
  1. Migrants make a massive contribution to the UK economy. We would all be poorer without them.
  2. Of course there will be a minority of them that are criminals
  3. But ripping up all our laws and rights to get rid of them threatens everyone because if you do it for one group, it is a lot easier to do it for another

I did say angel care - emergency depts.
Soup kitchens well their premis is helping all but food banks definitely nearly all need a referral from somewhere, that you’ll not get as you can’t fully access the services required to do so without documentation.
Yes, unfortunately I do share these isles with you.

You are posting absolute rubbish. Where do you think these people live? Where do you suppose their children go to school? Who feeds them? Who do you think pays for everything? The fairies?

You are dangerously out of your depth, and I can’t imagine you are British or even an adult. You seem to have no idea how this country works.

Hussmeister · 25/09/2025 06:53

You can't blame Trump for laughing at the way we treat immigrants.
I have thought for a while, we could could station our navy near French coast and when migrant boat detected off shore, connect floating line (like used in sea oil spillage) and gently bring them back to shore. Once they get to hear of this, they will not be spending thousands with gangs for a short journey only to be immediately returned.

BrisPerm · 24/09/2025 22:42

You know what else is disgusting? Putting illegals up in hotels whilst British homeless sleep on the streets.

if they could come up with a solution to housing illegals, why couldn’t they come up with the same solution to getting British homeless off the streets? Why were hotels not used for them?

Got any experience of working with homeless people and/or any understanding of a very complex issue? It's not simply a case of putting all homeless people in hotels. It doesn't work like that.

Hostels are dangerous places that’s why, in my experience the homeless feel safer outside. They are not offered four star hotels however….

💯 - it’s terrifying. Zero critical thinking & horrible attitudes. The very real problem with democracy is that stupid people can vote.

beachcitygirl · 25/09/2025 06:58

Also…. Why do NONE of these people care about non Doms & tax loopholes etc such as Mrs Sunak & the bloody monarchy (biggest scroungers ever)

Sorry but that's laughable, you've actually proved my point. Why do you think hostels are dangerous places when they are full of people who are homeless? It's not because of migrants btw.

stuckonaloop · 25/09/2025 06:59

I can see why some people are annoyed but you just can’t have a system for this type of thing with zero costs. You have to try and minimise costs but the reality is there will always be a price. Better to have a set 2k and compliance from these people than non compliance and bills of hundreds of thousands for each person.

Nestingbirds · 25/09/2025 07:03

We don’t have enough housing to house our homeless, because we have accepted millions and millions of extra migrants. The services everywhere are stretched too thin. Here we have assisted living with support for the homeless that worked really well for years, and kept them off the streets for most of the time - and offered them services and care, but now has been overwhelmed with demand. Too many people on one small island.
