Migrants get up to £2000 on bankcard after prison sentences

Ihatetomatoes · 24/09/2025 22:14

Just watched 47 migrants being deported, costing hundreds of thousands, private flights, huge number of security guards, the migrants then get given cash cards! Back to Romania after committing crimes here including murder, sexual offences, pedophiles with money to help them resettle in their own country.

ITV news - our own go hungry and cold.

We are total mugs here in the UK.

On a separate story migrants having taxis to appointments, free NHS. I mean we have to get to our own way.

Mugs. No wonder many people are unhappy. These are convicted criminals, being pandered to.

I’m talking about the exact same treatment though. Why is it considered abusive when white women are the victims but not when Muslim women are the victims?

If a white woman said she wasn’t permitted to leave the house without her husband, would she be treated in the same way by professionals as if she was a Muslim woman?

What professionals? What are you talking about specifically? This is complicated stuff. The treatment of domestic abuse by services is complex (believe me, I know. I am currently living with a family member fleeing domestic violence, with the involvement of all kinds of services), and also requires the input of the abused person, who has a say. If any person — white, asian, black — tells services that they are adhering to cultural traditions they are happy with, and their treatment does not meet the threshold for a crime, then what can the services actually do? Anyone is entitled to raise their underage children according to their own cultural values, and to conduct their family affairs in private to the point that every adult in the household consents. Plenty of women and children live in conditions and family structures I personally could and would not tolerate, but part of a free society is that people are allowed to choose how they live. We can debate all day about how far a cultural norm is a choice, but imo this is just as much the case for a white Christian woman who tolerates her husband's serial infieldility or use of prostitutes as it is for a muslim woman who tolerates covering her face and not associating with men outside the family.

When I was being trained, this was the policy and protocol, this was the reason given.
It didn’t occur to me to demand examples and take notes for @nomas on Mumsnet.
All I can say is to ask someone who works as an IDVA in a place where there is a large Muslim community.
It makes no difference if you believe me or not.
It’s true.

You’ve made a very serious claim that Muslim women have died as a result of Muslim police officers, social workers, doctors etc sharing information with the perpetrators which leads to the victim being killed.

If this had happened, it would have been news, and I can’t see a single case of where this has happened.

I can’t decide what’s worse, your employers teaching you things without proof, or you believing it blindly because this is how ‘I was being trained, this was the policy and protocol, this was the reason given’.

I didn’t once claim only Muslim women are put on those protective lists.

If you wish to write to my employer, I worked for the IDVA service in Rotherham. You’re more than welcome to.

Where did I say you did?

I really hope you’re not working with Muslim women, or if you do that you don’t let your true feelings show, because I’m not seeing much compassion in your posts.

Me: “I’m concerned by the misogyny and abuse faced by Muslim women in the UK”

Me: “I think women and children asylum seekers should be prioritised over adult males”

You: “racist”

If you genuinely do support Muslim women, then good for you for being an ally, but you did post the usual anti-Muslim rhetoric and then couldn’t provide any evidence when challenged. Here is what you said:

  • I think that poster is pointing out the incompatibilities between Islamic countries’ culture and British culture.
  • I don’t think it’s shocking to say that many aspects of Islamic culture are incredibly misogynistic and a large number of Islamic countries have norms and values which we would not be happy to accept.
  • And before we get the, “what about the abuse towards catholic women?”, well, we’re allowed to discuss that openly, aren’t we? There’s no fear of being sacked for expressing concern about them.
  • Muslim police officers, social workers, doctors etc shared the information with the perpetrators and the victim was then killed.

Write to Rotherham IDVA Service.

Tell them you find it abhorrent that they go to extra lengths to support the victims of Muslim perpetrators.

Throw in a few accusations of racism too.

I’m sure they’ll enjoy that.

Did anyone see the report last night about the individuals who are making an estimated £10k a month creating content related to migrants? Breaking into hotels including peoples bedrooms and so on? And when there's no material creating their own by harassing and terrifying black British children in lieu of actual immigrants? Its not just politicians with an interest in using manipulation and misinformation around this issue. Some grifters are getting very rich indeed from fueling the outrage of the gullible.

You would be happy to lose your basic human rights like right to life, fair trial, freedom from torture?

You would be like Russia, and heading into Nazi Germany.

Most countries would refuse to trade with us.

What bollocks, most countries in the world aren't in the ECHR including US, Australia, Japan etc. They still have all those rights. Why would they refuse to trade with us? Nonsense.

Lifesd · 25/09/2025 12:58

SparklingRivers · 25/09/2025 09:38

Australia has around 4 million over 65s compared to 13 million in the uk, despite us only having around double the overall population.
The US has a more comparable percentage of health issues and elderly.

The US has 5 times the population of the UK so not at all.

I haven’t seen the report, but I’m not surprised. The video about The Copthorne in Sussex being a ‘luxurious’ migrant hotel was fake news, it was at best a 3 star in its hey day and is likely run down now.

The clue is in the word ‘European’. Those countries you listed aren’t in Europe.

Nope, you claimed that if we weren't in the Echr we'd lose our basic rights and no one would trade worth us. I pointed out some countries not in the echr who do have those rights and do get to trade with other countries. What's geography got to do with it?

Because the f'ers all appeal deportation and it costs a fortune to fight each appeal and house them during the appeal process.

£2k is a bargain. Look at it another way, the govt is saving hundreds of thousands if not millions by bribing them to go quickly and quietly.

Well, if someone is convicted of a serious enough crime to get banged up and face deportation the law needs changing so that for these people there is no right of appeal (against the deportation), so that is part of the sentence. Right to a family life? Sure, take them with you.

Exactly. The only European country not party to the ECHR is Russia (and Belarus who do what Russia tell them to do). 46 countries are council members, including the UK.

If you want to leave the ECHR and put yourself on a par with Russia, the rest of Europe will take note and deal with us accordingly.
