Husband vaginal thrush treatment?

Hi all, wondering if you can help me with this…
I haven’t spoken to him about this yet because I’d like to actually know what you guys would do because I am rather impulsive and I am a little dramatic as well.

This morning I went to my husbands car to grab some ibuprofen out of his glove box ,I knew he had some because he keeps it for the gym and things. However I found a used vaginal thrush pessary (the rubbish) in the glovebox.

I haven’t had thrush recently. He hasn’t mentioned having it and that’s exactly the type of thing he would mention to me ,he’s not shy or anything but also why would he use a vaginal thrush medicine anyway? It was the combo one , the cream and the pill kind.

I'm very confused and anxious. Could it be that he is seeing a woman or am I jumping the gun ? Why on earth would he have that in his car and am I wrong to have looked in the glove box without telling him I’m gonna go to his car ?

How do I bring this up exactly with him.
We also have the life 360 app for the kids and he has had his location off for weeks now and I just assumed he had location off in general but now I’m thinking maybe he could be seeing someone ?

I don’t know. Please let me know what you’d say and do. Am I being dramatic or could this be a clue that he’s cheating which I’m kinda feeling like it is right now.

He probably did it in the loo at work and didn’t want to leave it in the bin there

I went to boots for the cream and a chemist and the only option was to buy the combi pessary as no creams on their own were available. I didn’t want the pessary. So maybe he wanted the cream for himself and just didn’t mention it?? I didn’t constantly tell my partner about all my health issues

Surely OP would have noticed if her DH had thrush? They wouldn’t be having sex and his Willy would be quite sore and dry looking? It doesn’t go away straight away either even with treatment and more to the point wouldn’t he have told her?.

You know what men are like probably opened the silver foil wondering what it was. It’s a possibility. A lot of men may not even know what a pessary is so look. If it were a woman. She’s a very strange one!! To be leaving thrush treatment in her affair partners vehicle.

very plausible! I would then tell my wife though like you never guess what stupid thing I’ve done. Unless he hasn’t realised!

I'm having intrusive thoughts of OP's husband getting all pervy about his affair partner's thrush treatment - you know, "I wish I was your tampon" vibes.

I don't understand people leaping to affair! If it were a lipstick or a lacey thong, then yes, but no-one would 'accidentally' leave thrush treatment for their partner's spouse to find.

Yeah I get that. It does seem a bit brash for an affair partner, doesn’t it?

I’m incredibly close to my husband, he’s bought this exact thrush treatment for me before, I’ve applied the pessary while he’s in the room and he’s applied cream for me. I have never and can’t ever imagine a scenario where I apply a pessary in his car.

But it was used. If he just wanted the cream portion fine. But the pessary got inserted somewhere by someone.

What a disturbing and yukky find.
The sensible thing would be to do more digging and prepare for the worse case scenario - not sure I’d be able to keep quiet about this though.
Don’t worry or feel guilty about future ‘snooping’ you’re not doing anything wrong.

This + location being off… I’d go with cheating.

Ask him directly and don’t leave room for him to argue his way out of there. Don’t let him leave the room without giving you his phone. Check the notes app too.

As a starter, you could ask him why he has 360 turned off and ask that he puts it back on. I'm sure you can think of a convincing-sounding "innocent" reason why you find it useful.

If he doesn’t want to, I would certainly wonder why. Either way, it would lead to me asking directly about what you found. An innocent man would hasten to reassure you and put the 360 back on (and I can’t think of an innocent reason for the pessary anyway).

Don’t let him deflect by trying to make you feel bad about looking in his car. It's a perfectly normal thing to do.

My problem with that theory is that if you really want someone to happen to find something, the glove compartment of their partner’s car is a pretty long shot. In twenty-odd years of marriage, I don’t think I’ve ever opened the glove compartment of my OH’s car. It could be like Boot’s stockroom in there, for all I know.

Was the cream used? If so more likely hes messed up and bought the wrong thing and got confused with the pessary. If not it feels more how a woman would use it, the pessary is loads more effective than the cream I find.

Athletes foot doesn't cause men to grow vaginas on their feet. Unless there's new unfounded medical scaremongering from the US, which we can rule out anyway.

Yeah but not the pessary DH had the cream for ring worm but a pessary is only used inside a vaginal!

it does sound more likely that he bought the box for his own thrush
