Because the Democrats put up a senile old man and then tried to gaslight the American people that everything was fine.

And instead they voted in a senile old man and tell the American people that everything is fine.

The rabid anti-vxr is a qualified attorney who has spent decades fighting on the behalf of families who have been gaslit. He happens not to be anti-vaccine in principle however he wants them to be safely administered and tested out in the first instance.

You understand that qualified doctors and qualified attorneys are not interchangeable?

Gaslit, how?

Im guessing you are also a proponent of Wakefield?

Because they haven't conducted any new research themselves. They have reviewed existing research and drawn conclusions that experts globally disagree with. Coincidentally within a time frame they announced months ago. Almost as if they're trying to twist things into the narrative that suits them...

He truly is the epitome of stupidity.
Unbelievably dangerous man.

Also an ex heroine addict who had a worm eating his brain and mercury poisoning, apparently.

That explains a great deal.

Firefly1987 · 22/09/2025 23:37

I thought it was down to paternal age more than anything. Is that no longer the theory?

lljkk · 22/09/2025 23:41

in the 70s and early 80s I had approximately four vaccines.

Weird. I was born in late 60s & had more than 4 jabs by the time I was 3yo.

Tetanus, diptheria, mumps, measles, polio, smallpox or TB?, boosters for all those, measles one again as an adult... My GGgrandmother lost 4 siblings to diptheria in about 1879. Lucky me to be here at all.

Me too. Born in 64, had at least 8? Thank goodness.

I have an autistic adult dd and didn’t take paracetamol. Her dad is definitely on the autistic spectrum but became more pronounced as he got older. Her sister has adhd

Exactly the same in my family.
Autism is not a fault to be cured. It's a difference.
But go on Trump, blame the women for taking pain killers.

lljkk · 22/09/2025 23:47

Doesn't RFK refute germ theory, he believes in miasma as main diseae cause instead?

So [some germ] only hurts you if you've got Vit X deficiency because you were exposed to some chemical ... the idea is that germs aren't a big deal, but some individuals are only vulnerable because of pollution. That's the most sophisticated version of miasma theory.

I wonder if RFK's kids or grandkids were vaccinated.

This is amusing. Swimming in poo is fine, folks, keeps you strong.

RFK Jr. goes swimming with grandchildren in contaminated D.C. creek

The National Park Service has a longstanding warning against swimming or wading in Rock Creek due to "high levels of bacteria and other infectious pathogens."

Vaccines, and now paracetamol, what a shame.

It's strange that society continues to be absorbed by these redherrings, and continue neglect the actual likely causes of autism rate increases. Such as gestational diabetes and maternal obesity.

@BeHappySloth
As was pointed out on another thread he was voted in by a majority of voters in America who thought he was the right choice. The Democrats must bear some of the blame.

He was voted in by those who bothered to vote. ie 30.5% of the population.
And as I have said on another thread, many of the 40% who didn't vote now regret it and many of those who did vote for him now regret it.

Hiding other news behind faux science and outrage

also the entire republic members of The Senate voted to block the release of the Epstein Files

LaundryandDirt · 22/09/2025 23:53

An Irish politician Michael Healy Rae brought this subject up the other day. He’s calling for investigations into the sheer amount of kids being diagnosed in recent years.

I have no idea, our class sizes were 30 kids in each year, right from Junior Infants in primary to the last year in secondary. Nobody appeared to struggle or did poorly in exams. This was the 80’s and 90’s. Now it’s everywhere, my son’s school has another school attached for SEN kids and we are in a tiny rural village.

I would love to understand more. Like I said there was nobody looking back through all my friends, siblings friends,
classes, housing estate that you could look back and be confident they were probably autistic. Zero.

Then not only were the Democrats to blame, but the voters who were so apathetic and indifferent about who got in, that they didn’t actually vote at all…

Yes. He is saying that autism is caused by the use of paracetamol in pregnancy. He also seemed to be saying that people shouldn't give paracetamol to small children. And suggesting that vaccines may also play a part.

And he claims that there is no autism in the Amish community or in Cuba.

What? Paracetamol. The world is so crazy now I just don’t want to leave the house.

Thedogscollar · 23/09/2025 00:03

MrsSkylerWhite · 22/09/2025 22:41

Could be wrong but I think he also suggested injecting it?

Sadly you are not wrong. The idiot did suggest this.
It seems there is no end to his insane thoughts and mutterings.

sittingonabeach · 23/09/2025 00:06

@LaundryandDirt I was at Primary school in the 70s. Many children left school without qualifications. I can remember we were always told how well boys did, better than girls. They were looking at STEM results and completely ignored the raft of boys who left schools without qualifications.

Ratafia · 23/09/2025 00:06

It's quite weird that he cares that much about children getting autism, when he doesn't care about children getting killed and maimed by guns.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 23/09/2025 00:08

He is an idiot. Shocking in 2025 that a loose lipped orange fool as the president of America.
It's a distraction tactic. He comes out with the most bizarre shit.
Another deflection tactic.
Trump's DM must have smoked crack cocaine when pregnant.

I agree, but how was this man allowed to become the most powerful person on the planet?

Because there are an awful lot of not very intelligent people out there - and they’ve been empowered by the internet.

PeopleWatching17 · 23/09/2025 00:14

Angryhag · 22/09/2025 22:17

The cause of autism is complex genetic. I have an autistic (adult) child and I didn’t touch any paracetamol or ibuprofen or indeed any drug at all during pregnancy.

Completely agree. My close friend has four sons, ages 17 - 21. All non-verbal when young. All quite, quite autistic. She knows it’s not vaccines or paracetamol. I know it’s not vaccines or paracetamol. We all know it’s not vaccines or paracetamol. What a dangerous wanker Trump is.

BerylSnow · 23/09/2025 00:16

70-odd million Americans voted for him. Let that sink in.
