How will you mark the occasion? Cheering him on as he parades through London? Trying to catch a glance? Not caring? Etc

I’ve lost the post but “fuck off you tangerine twat” has given me the giggles.

“Excited for”? It’s the Americans on here again. I wonder if there’s a US equivalent of the Daily Mail where they are scraping our replies for news fodder?

Excited is quite a different word in US English I think, OP. It’s more like mildly diverted, whereas for us Brits it’s something which potentially could involve jumping up and down with a balloon. Which I won’t be doing. I’ll just be glad to get it over with. As will, I suspect, the King.

'It's the Americans on here again....'

Xenophobic much Dolphinnoises?

Beesandhoney123 · 17/09/2025 00:36

He isn't being allowed out in public.

No good will come of letting him visit.

TooBigForMyBoots · 17/09/2025 00:51

After a rather upsetting conversation with my American kin, I've spent most of today calling him a cunt.

VivienneDelacroix · 17/09/2025 01:00

I never feel sorry for the royal family, but I think the King and Queen are going to have a painful day tomorrow. But at least they will have something to laugh about afterwards.

Meadowfinch · 17/09/2025 01:01

If the creep had the guts to appear in public I'd probably turn my back and bare my bum at him, but he hasn't.

The fact that they need to limit the carriage procession to the Windsor estate because he is so unpopular that it's the only way they can stop someone taking a potshot at him is laughable.

What a dickhead.

I see someone has managed to project a huge image of Trump and Epstein onto Windsor castle walls tonight. I saw it on Sky. The police have raided the building it came from to put a stop to it. But it’s already hit the U.S. websites 😆

This is glorious. Well done to whoever did this 👏

MarxistMags · 17/09/2025 01:17

I can barely contain myself....🙄

Flomingho · 17/09/2025 01:27

The UK should not be pandering to him, yet alone at enormous expense to the tax payer when the NHS is on its knees, more money needs to be invested in education etc.

unsurewhattodoaboutit · 17/09/2025 02:08

Mm…As excited as when I see a prison van go past with convicts inside?

What are you? A masturbating maga?

I wouldn’t say excited, but I’m looking forward to seeing how he interacts with the royals, particularly Wills and Kate. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Starmer navigates the press conference.

Me too. There is something fascinating, even touching , about HIS pleasure at being invited to stay at the castle. He's really chuffed
He says Starmer is his friend.but I think Princes and Kings will top all that.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 17/09/2025 03:46

No & I bet you anything that Charles is asking Camilla "Are you sure that it's sinusitis & not Covid?" whilst considering running away & abdicating at the same time.
Meanwhile Kate is instructing George, Lottie & Louis on knot formation & encouraging them to get the Orange one to play hide & seek in Windsor Castle, where there are lots of places to hide & lots of things to tie people up to, secret places that take weeks to find.
On second thoughts scratch that idea as we don't want him stuck here for weeks.

Dorabledoreen · 17/09/2025 03:50

I will attempt to avoid anything to do with him, as just looking at him makes me feel physically sick. 🤮

I am American, and I can assure you that I and many others here agree with the negative assessment of Trump. I had to smile at the news of images of Epstein being projected by protesters onto Windsor castle during Trump’s visit. Never forget the evil this man has done and is capable of doing.

i read that they’ve been arrested. I would have given them a medal. Not arrest them.

Iocainepowder · 17/09/2025 05:37

what are you on about, cheering him on? I’m pretty sure the news said that nothing will involve the British public? So no one will see him.

And no i’m not angry but also not excited. Just a normal couple of working days ahead.

WolfingtonBear · 17/09/2025 05:37

Not excited, no, interested, yes.

isthismylifenow · 17/09/2025 05:52

Oh you are so blessed. 🤭

He declined the invite over at ours for the G20 summit.

Rightsraptor · 17/09/2025 06:04

I feel no emotion whatsoever about this visit.

JustForYouMyDear · 17/09/2025 06:14

RIP Janey Godley. An extremely funny woman who didn’t suffer fools gladly.

Are you excited for President Donald Trump’s forthcoming state visit to the UK?
Zippedydodah · 17/09/2025 07:50

Quite frankly I couldn’t give a damn about his visit beyond the fact that the pomp and ceremony is sickening for an ignorant oaf like Trump.

UltraHorse · 17/09/2025 08:36

Lib Dem leader just been on GB news He is not attending ceremony with Donald Trump thinks Trump could be doing more to stop Israel destroying Gaza Great to have an MP putting opinions out there that are wanted and with clarity The Labour party always wanted clarity from the conservatives and the lib dem leader is good at that not that I worried about clarity from the conservatives Always thought they were pretty clear really but the lib dem leader comes across extra clear in my opinion

TopPocketFind · 17/09/2025 08:50

The only parade in London is the 'Trump not welcome' demonstration

The guy himself is going nowhere near the streets of London, carriage ride through Windsor Castle estate

But you can’t remember his name? 🤔

(to be fair, neither can I)
