I find it embarrasing that due to Brexit we find ourselves so isolated and friendless we have to invite a criminal and a rapist here for a State Visit.

Why on earth would anyone be excited? It's only a diplomatic visit by a foreign leader. We have them all the time.

In all my 49 years I have never encountered another British person who has ever proclaimed themselves 'excited' by a state visit from anyone.
