Political violence on the rise.

People are getting angry when people have Political views they don't agree with. Freedom of speech must be allowed not shutdown.

Tragic news of a young family man shot by someone today. Please remember he was a human with a family. Violence is never ok.

I often disagreed with what Charlie Kirk said, but he was literally the opposite of that.

His whole mission was to discuss and debate pretty much anything. He always allowed the other person to put their view across, even if he was merciless in then countering views he disagreed with.

You may hate the Republicans in the US, but they are strong advocates of freedom of speech, more so than in the “liberal” UK when you can arrested for writing an insulting tweet as Graham Linehan discovered.

It is, and I’d describe myself as a liberal by that definition.

The issue is that it’s become a term that’s been appropriated over the past couple of decades by the Left, and co-opted into their much more authoritarian and intolerant philosophy.
