weird but true!
If someone offers you copious amounts of cash to spend a day in bed with them the natural response should be NO shouldn't it. Why am I even THINKING about it!!??
Been watching too much Corrie?? Sleeping with someone and them giving you money makes you a prozzy, right?!
Anyone ever done it - be honest you can always do a name change...

The only money and sex equation I'd be offered nowadays is loadsamoney to not sleep with somebody, because I am a mingoid pigdog.

onebatmother · 01/06/2008 20:56

Actually I think Take A Break have a sliding scale.

They paid quite well for my "I gave birth to an echo-locating mammal" story.

foxinsocks · 01/06/2008 20:58

ooh ooh

I said Take A Break early on

have we cracked it?

FrannyandZooey · 01/06/2008 20:58

SheikYerbouti, you are an absolute LIAR
I fancy you myself actually

SheikYerbouti · 01/06/2008 20:59

Chat magazine are even more low rent, but don't even think of ringing them unless you have 98376293847 children all with made up names like "F'breeze" and "Kodiii Sunset-Boulevard" and have tatts and are able to blow smoke rings through your arse.

foxinsocks · 01/06/2008 20:59

cor, if you can blow smoke rings through your arse, I'll sleep with you for a fiver

SheikYerbouti · 01/06/2008 21:00

Ooh, no.

I used to turn heads

Now I just turn milk.

I am especially mingoid today [spots]

FrannyandZooey · 01/06/2008 21:01

Doesn't there have to be incest or a paedophile for Take a Break to be interested? Ah. Perhaps the OP is horrified because her ex boss is actually her Uncle Gordon with the gammy leg?

onebatmother · 01/06/2008 21:07

or not story but dull survey
5 out of ten women would sleep with their boss if they were offered enough money.

booge · 01/06/2008 21:15

Something similar happened to me once, I was appalled and horrified, I was a professional woman and not in the oldest profession. I didn't need more than a micro second to say no.

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 01/06/2008 21:23

Just a quick thought, and assuming this isn't a troll:

£500 kinda pales into insignificance when you think of the thousands you could take him for at an industrial tribunal - and you wouldn't have to sleep with him for that!

theBOD · 01/06/2008 22:54

no real industrial issue if he's an ex-boss as there is no professional link.they are just 2 people whoknow eah other.

also lol at 500 plus being a copious aount of money

onebatmother · 01/06/2008 23:05

Der, theBod. If you are on benefits/v broke, I'm sure it probably is a copious amount of money. Your LOL does you no favours.

Does taking money for sex make you a prostitute? That sounds like the definition, yes. Whether is is morally wrong is another matter.

schneebly · 01/06/2008 23:23

My ex boss once told me that he would take me shopping in the city and we would stay in a nice hotel - I flippantly said "separate rooms?" He said (seriously) "no"

I LMAO and told him to eff off.

Serously though don't do it.

jingleyjen · 01/06/2008 23:24

not enough money... would have to have a few more zero's on the end to make me think about it, and there aren't enough to make me agree to it.

Depends, would you do him without the cash, are you both available....????

Quattrocento · 02/06/2008 00:27

I think if the price were right my DH would probably be encouraging me ...

I asked him the question thinking he would say, y'know, £1m+ or so.

He said well I would like a new car

madamez · 02/06/2008 00:44

Well, some women do have fantasies about sex for money, first off... remember Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman? Sex work isn't exactly like that, though.

I'm a bit intrigued as to why/how your boss put the idea to you though. Because, if he fancies you and you are both single, why isn't he just asking you on a date? Yes there are plenty of reasons why men pay for sex rather than dating for it, but mostly when a man wants to pay for sex he seeks out an actual sex worker rather than propositioning an employee. He's taking a bit of a risk, isn't he - you could run squealing to the tabloids or tell -MN-- after all.

As to whether you should or shouldn't it's up to you. But the going rate for healthy, high-end escorting (what my escort agent mate calls the 'self-respect rate') is £250 an hour.

QuintessentialShadows · 02/06/2008 00:51

Yeah, I can totally see how being regarded a cheap (read £500) slut (read prostitute) would be a turn on.

madamez · 02/06/2008 01:11

QS: fantasies come in many shapes and forms, just because a specific one doesn't work for you doesn't make it wrong.
