My daughter started a new school.
She has come home with 3 seperate sets of paper.

Each with 2 pages printed front and back.

2 of the are the exact same.

Why the fuck do I have to wrote out her address 3 seperate times?! Why do i have to wrotes my email 4 times?! Her name so many times..
And on and on.

Im not doing the duplicate one. They can look at the other one.

But seriously its 2025! There should be a better system.

Also, as a teacher there are so many things to do that could do with streamlining, it's so commonplace I struggle to see why this would enrage you so much.

If you are an SEND teacher you would know why forms are sent out on paper.

There was a thread about this recently with many people complaining about the online forms and tech based admin parents are exposed to these days. Some people really struggle. While you might find an online form faster and more efficient, someone else would be much faster filling out a paper form and find it a lot less stressful. They probably get lots of phone calls and emails about the online systems, I suspect there is no saving in admin. Plus at least now they actually have a signature not some bullshit online scribble that differs every time you do it.
