Just a curious one. If you have guests using the sofa bed what time do you get up yourself?? I need to go downstairs and sort out the cat box 🤢 and get on with my day but worried about disturbing them 😞😍

So glad everyone I know is up by 6am in the week and 7am at the weekend because we all have lives to lead and taxes to pay

We're all awake when there are things to be done so in bed by 10, not sitting on our phones until 2am.

If I was retired maybe I'd shift my mindset and stay in bed a bit longer but as it stands I make the most of the weekends

Why do you imagine people are 'sitting on their phones' if they stay up later than you? Or that other people don't have 'things to be done' after 10pm?

If all your family are morning people, great! Enjoy. But there's nothing wrong with being night time people either and it doesn't mean people are less productive or lead less exciting lives than you if they're not in bed by 10 and up at 7.

in bed by 10? Unless you are a primary school child, I don't know anyone who is in bed by 10pm 😂 What a waste of a life to go to bed so early. No time to do anything or have a social life. Sounds so inefficient.

I'm an early to bed, early to rise.
It works for me.
This would be explained to anyone coming to stay, and we'd agree ahead what to do if guests had different bedtime habits. No need for drama.

my point was that there's no need to pretend to be superior because you go to bed early 😂

But when I have guests, they are free to go to bed early or stay in bed late, or both if they want. No one is coming to wake them up because they've decided one mustn't sleep in the morning.

You could get a screen for the future. I wake soon after 4 and couldn't lie there until 0830. Like you, I'd creep around sorting/feeding the cats at 0530.

I’ve not RTFT but a litter robot is a gamechanger! Gets emptied once a week and uses about 1 bag of litter a month for 2 cats so will pay for itself in about 12 months!
