Just that, really.

Taking my time through the canon of his work.
Subscribing for 7 days to whatever streaming service that keeps him close.
(omg I'm so going to have to remember to cancel within 7 days)

He's the most beautiful person, and best actor, ever. Isn't he? Or is it just me?

The trouble with adaptations of Lady Chatterley's lover is that neither Jack O'Connell or Richard Madden are a patch on Sean Bean.

I have only seen the 1981 and the more recent Madden/Norton versions and I must say the 1981 version was much closer to the book.

I was 16 when the Sean Bean version of Lady Chatterley's Lover was first on telly and my god, did it do things for me 😆

Where did I say you were stupid? Ffs there are people here who will argue over literally anything.

Yet you've twice posted to "correct me"?? Pot, kettle...

The attraction thing is so weird isn't it. I find Benedict Cumberbatch almost unbearably sexy in Parade's End, Sherlock and Star Trek, but am not attracted to him at all in anything else.

Jon Hamm in 'Mad Men' is like this for me. Hot as hell as Don Draper, but kind of 'meh' in any other role and in 'real life'. Obviously a handsome man, but handsome in a CNN newsreader kind of way. There's something about the Don Draper persona which just oozes sex, but not so much about Jon Hamm himself.

Have you watched him in the Gareth Jones biopic about the Ukrainian hodomor (famine) in the 1930s? Extraordinary life depicted by amazing actor!

I can understand that!

I was too young to watch it first time round but when I did...🥵

You'll not find more real a man that Sean Bean. It's his Sheffield upbringing. Yorkshire men have rare pedigree. James N spent many of his formative years in North Yorkshire, and clearly it has contributed to his quality too 😊

I like him, he seems nice when interviewed and he’s a great actor. He is very handsome although I only really fancied him in Grantchester. Not sure if it was just the Vicar’s outfit! 😆 But I also love men in 1940s/1950s fashion which he wore in that show. He’s very suited to that look.
