Apparently (according to comments on her facebook page), both she and her 'handmaid' (yuck!) have each had a baby since the original 7 were removed, and those two have now also been removed. She was taken forcibly by ambulance to give birth in hospital and had the kid immediately removed. It's really very sad all round. :(

If that was after the Constance Marten story was in the news, one can see why the authorities felt they had to do that.

This makes that other pair of nutjobs, Clive and Iuliia, look almost normal. Though giving birth in potentially dangerous circumstances seems to be a common theme.

I watched a video of the wife on Tiktok after I read about them in the paper yesterday.
She was showing off all the gifts people had given her and she had loads of toiletries from Lush and body shop.

She was telling journalists and visitors to only come if they bring gifts!

The headline about the American being found with a lost African tribe in Scotland sounded really interesting until I realised that the tribe was only two people 🙄

At school we were made to sing the hymn Jerusalem, based on a legend that Jesus visited England. So I can see how some people susceptible to conspiracy theories and alternate histories might come up with the idea of Jerusalem being in Scotland. It sounds like they might be a breakaway of the Hebrew Israelites, who are big on conspiracies.

Today I read about local people attacking them with bricks. That's so cruel, especially if they are mentally unwell. So long as authorities are monitoring the situation and the handmaid isn't being abused (this was my first concern) everyone should leave them alone. So much attention might make others want to join them.

At a basic level, our community cannot afford basics for pools and Libraries but have now, and will continue to spend thousands on evictions. They were moved from a private area two metres to a council area. We have police, sheriff officers, court staff, council staff working on this.

@Bruisernamepossibly, the pregnant lady certainly. The other two, hmmm. They are very able to say exactly what they want and have everyone bringing it. They will not speak without the demands being met. The press are running after them, TikTok videos are going wild. It seems a very elaborate scam in one sense, on the other hand yes absolutely. But that’s not even entered the realms of authority here other than welfare checks.

Well said @pteromum . They have absolutely no right to be there and will have cost the landowner a small fortune.

Now they are costing all of us with an endless stream of courts/sheriffs/babies.

The land will be utterly grim with untreated human waste. And yet people queue up to say 'what harm are they doing '. Let them shit in your garden then, quite literally.

Why would they go "top of the list" : because other people with housing needs already are living under solid roofs? Because of their (doesn't matter if they admit it or not) severe mental illness? I know there is scoring criteria and they are neither ill, indigent, living with children nor elderly which 4 things score points don't they?
