Stop being jealous of rich woman

Sackofsatchels · 18/08/2025 16:25

All this envy some of you have towards women married to rich men.
HE has the money not her if she's given up her job to look after the kids shes pretty much stuck can't even run away unless it's to live in a tent because he pays the rent and she has none of her own money. Technically could be starved by him because he's 100% in control of the finances.

Same goes for the kids actually just because they have a rich dad doesn't mean he isn't beating ten tons of shit out of them

If they met and had kids when they were really young she won't have any qualifications or work experience for the CV, no where to live and the kids will go to him because he has the house. It's easier said than done hats off to anyone that did it

I agree with you about the child abuse though

Utter rubbish. You can get qualifications. You can get work experience. You can get housing. And no the kids do not "go to him because he has a house". This is 2025, not 1825. You won't have the same standard of living. But most people don't have it anyway. So you choose sexual slavery or freedom.

Lol I must of missed that comment I get why they're questioning "welfare" but what's unusually exotic about "assholes"

South coast if you must know though

People that bitterly moan about the "privileged" wives and kids of rich men annoy me. Thatt is built on the assumption hes a good man. You don't think it matters but he's real life consequences kids in those situations have missed out on going to university seeing as the loan is based on your parents income as if everyone gets on with their parents.

And all the snakes on here that brag about reporting their poor on welfare friends/sisters etc for fraud because they don't declare their new partner straight away. That's also assuming he helps out. People have killed themselves over the stress of being reported

If. He's. Living. With. You. You're. Not. Single.

How much clearer can it be? If he isn't financially helping out, don't live with him! The tax payers don't have to pay because your partner is a loser!

Sackofsatchels · 18/08/2025 20:31

KilkennyCats · 18/08/2025 20:16

You sound so bitter that your “welfare” payments were stopped, op.
Why not try doing some of that earning lark yourself?

🤣🤣 brutal

I don't recall saying my welfare payments were stopped though. Wait did I even say I've ever claimed welfare? Just said some bitter bag spread a rumour I was committing fraud when she knew nothing about me

Your most recent posts give the game away as to why you are so bitter about a very particular set of circumstances with a certain type of man

CynthiaGrace · 18/08/2025 20:47

Chill out OP.

What difference does it make to taxpayers if such a man was there anyway? Even if he wasn't there the taxpayer still has to pay

So your actual gripe is that you can’t move a high earning man into your household without losing your benefits?!
What was all the “don’t be jealous, high earning men are probably abusive” bollocks about?
You really need to start earning your own living.

PinotPony · 18/08/2025 21:23

No idea what you’re on about OP. You can be furious at people for wherever reasons you like… you do you..

If you’re expecting people to engage in some kind of discussion with you, either about wealth or the benefit system, it might be sensible to write a coherent argument. Have you been taking lessons from the Trump School of Debating..? You’re making about as much sense as he does…

Point is she can't just leave him and rent or buy her own place because it's HIM that holds the purse strings so she's pretty much a bird trapped in a golden cage

Why can't she just leave him? She'd be in no worse a situation than poor women who didn't marry a rich man.

TY78910 · 18/08/2025 21:43

Just the one woman?

Yes, just op, apparently.
Although she’s on welfare as well as being rich. Nice work if you can get it, eh?

That is quite something.

PollyBell · 18/08/2025 22:00

Well why does having a rich husband stop a woman from being a grown up and getting a job?

Asshole is used in America, whereas it is generally arsehole in the UK.

Why would you assume that a "rich woman" doesn't have/earn her own money, and that she even has a husband at all, let alone a rich one?

SheSaidHummingbird · 19/08/2025 00:45

Sackofsatchels · 18/08/2025 17:13

Why does anyone make a thread about anything? Why do other people feel the need to make threads professing their envy but it's weird when I make a thread pointing out the wives aren't always living a life of luxury?

So, this is a mumsnet dispersal order? If so, yes YABU

SomewhatAnnoyed · 19/08/2025 05:20

PhilippaGeorgiou · 18/08/2025 17:30

Fuck she is. She can make her own way, get her own employment - she can have some self-respect. I have never felt envy for anyone, never mind a woman living off a man (or another woman). She is making a choice. So I am certainly not going to feel sorry for her either. And if she allows him to beat children, then frankly she's a bitch who deserves everything she gets. I'd bloody kill him and land in jail rather than let that happen.

i understand the sentiment but what do you think would happen to your children?

Ass as opposed to arse started to seep in from across the Atlantic as far back as the min 1980s. As far as I can see, it's now used interchangeably with arse. Must cause confusion since 'stupid ass' as in donkey is still used.
