One of my clients told me she suspected her husband was having an affair. She didn’t want to upset the family home etc so she’s kept quiet but has recently started seeing someone at work herself behind DH back. He best friend is also my client. She told me it is HER who is having an affair with first clients husband but she doesn’t have a clue. She also doesn’t know about friends secret fella at work. So I have to sit and listen to the stories and try not mix them up just incase I let anything slip. Client one will be like I think he was with her last Thursday afternoon, if I find out who she is. I feel like saying I KNOW he was with her Thursday afternoon noon she told me yesterday! Bloody scumbags.

If that was me in your position I’d be having to draw a venn diagram and lock it in my drawer to use as reference before meeting any of them!

no, dear God 🤣

nicer and more attractive- and not an asshole!🤣

by “younger” I mean we were in our mid twenties and there was no grooming involved, and we had a clear idea what we were doing (and it was fun basically)

I had to Google "C suite executive".

Would make a hell of a novel/autobiography, anyway...

They used to hang out in places like Courchevel, or probably Dubai

This happened years ago, but was fabulous gossip at the time! We had a team night out, and one of the Directors decided to join us. Bit weird, he didn't usually, but whatever. Late into the evening, his PA is crying in the loos, and as I consoled her, she admitted (between sobs) that she and the Director were having an affair, but she'd just found out his wife was pregnant. I told her she needed to forget about married men, put her in a taxi home and decided I would keep it to myself.

The next day, the office is buzzing with the gossip that the Director and his PA are sleeping together. It turns out PA was indiscreet all evening, and told at least 4 people!

Anyway, my favourite bit of this story is when a few days later, Director sets up a series of meetings with all the individuals who were on the night out, and sat there and lied to each of our faces that "There is nothing going on between PA and me, and if I find out who is spreading this rumour, there will be a disciplinary!" So I had to sit there and say "Nothing to do with me Sir!", all the while knowing I'd heard exactly what a shit he was straight from the horse's mouth!

Plus he had teeny, tiny hands, and called himself "Phill". Not Phil, like a normal person, Phill, with an extra "l" for being such a special sausage.

Special sausage just made me snort

She said he was a nice man and not an asshole, so that excludes Andrew.

Not gossip, but it’s my husbands birthday this month, he’s desperate for my chemical romance tickets but he didn’t manage to get any. He thought I was at work this morning, I wasn’t, I was securing two hospitality tickets for him :)

Aww that is adorable

Seriously, you should be contacting publishers. It's a very alien world to most of us. People would love reading exposes of the rich.

I know that two people, A&B for example who are in a relationship actually got together at least 12 months before they claim and when one of them was he was still married to someone else. Nor did they first meet in the place they both claim to.

Other than the people immediately involved (of which I am not one) nobody else knows this I am not entirely sure how much of the above A's ex even knows. I do have to sometimes bite my lip when people go on about what a lovely couple they are and how lucky they found each other after As marriage ended 🙄.

This sounds exactly like my not so 'D'B and his new partner. I wonder if it's them? Hmm

An Italian foreign exchange student came to our town with a school trip. When she left she found out she was pregnant. She had the baby in her home country and put it up for adoption. It was quite a scandal for her at the time as her family were very religious - fairly sure she didn’t have much choice.
I know who the father was but he knew nothing about the whole thing. I see him occasionally and he is a decent guy but he has no idea he has a child who lives in another country. He has a step kid who he treats really well and I just know he would have been a good dad.

My 30 something PFB is pregnant with a much wanted honeymoon baby. She doesn't want to announce it generally until she is post 12 weeks.

I've spent the last 3 weeks away with various friends and family members absolutely lying through my teeth when they ask for news of her and her new husband

When DD was a teenager she was really upset as one of her closest friends had started sleeping with her very recent ex. I reported the friends mum for benefit fraud (which was true). The mum couldn’t work out who had reported her. She had to pay a lot of money back!

I know a man who arrived in our town ten years ago from SA. He has since installed himself with three separate recently divorced women, each of whom have three children. He appears to move on when the settlement money runs out 😯 A sort of hobosexual ambulance chaser....😒

My ex-best Mum friend’s DH confessed (or bragged?) to my DH on a night out once that he had shagged one of the other school Mums from their DCs class back in the day. They were both single, so nothing untoward, but my ex-friend is the kind of person who would be furious if she ever found out and wouldn’t be able to get over it very easily.
DH only told me this after she stopped talking to me!
