Just like the title says. only fans, do any of u mums do it? What’s ur family set up? What does ur husbands/partners think?

im considering it, but only like sexy pics on the side of my current part time job. No videos. Wanting to leave husband but need to earn more. But considering keeping it a secret from everyone. Does this make enough money? Lend me experience/feelings?

Do you want to lose your PT job?

LemondrizzleShark · 12/08/2025 08:50

Yes mums do it. Unless you are a celeb or appeal to a specific niche, I don’t think you are going to make enough from “sexy pics” to leave your husband.

Simonjt · 12/08/2025 08:51

The average OFer earns is about £130 a month, for people earning £500,000 a year, great they’re okay, for those not earning that they are potentially destroying their future earning potential as some employers may think their OF, or past OF makes them unsuitable for their company.

It’s very unlikely OP would ever be notorious enough for her work to find her OF page.

Piccolomaforte · 12/08/2025 08:52

I’d be concerned that once pics are out there, they will always be out there. I wouldn’t do it anyway, but the fact that people could find them at any point in the future would put me off - DCs, partners, employers.

Ponoka7 · 12/08/2025 08:52

One of my DD's was single and joined dating websites. You get offers for feet pictures/used underwear/footwear (you just buy primark flip flops for £1) and other non identifing stuff. She made around £5k, then decided to stop. Once your pictures are out there, they are available forever.

Ponoka7 · 12/08/2025 08:53

@LemondrizzleShark it's a small world and a lot of men use OF, women have been outed by being found.

Prettychubster · 12/08/2025 08:54

It's likely a crowded market and with all due respect you'll have to do more than just upload sexy pics. It won't earn you a lot, celebs make mega money because they are well sought after.

Consider a part time role in a supermarket, steady money and hours to fit around your family.

JamesWebbSpaceTelescope · 12/08/2025 08:55

Given how good reverse image searches are getting there is no way you can guarantee this will stay hidden. How would you feel if your ‘D’H, mum, great aunt Beryl, employer, child etc… found the pictures?

Also why would anyone pay for your pictures when there are so many already out there?

Could you look at increasing your part time hours? Which would set you up better long term as well for when you are single.

Fupoffyagrasshole · 12/08/2025 08:57

I’d go with the feet thing or selling underwear or something if you could make that work!

I wouldn’t be putting anything up there with my face or anything else identifiable

LemondrizzleShark · 12/08/2025 08:51

It’s very unlikely OP would ever be notorious enough for her work to find her OF page.

That’s true, she’d have to do some pretty ‘intense’ content to gain notoriety. However, once she starts and realises what gets the money, it’s likely she’ll want to have that cash.

It truly is a slippery slope, and all it takes (regardless of content) is one colleague or workmate subscribing or recognising you. Then suddenly you’re bringing your workplace into disrepute, the mums at school are all whispering about you, your kids don’t get invited over anymore, and the police dont and won’t take you seriously if anything happens to you because “you’re know to be a hooker”.

Society has more respect for drug dealers than they do for women who engage in any level of sex work. And to make money, you’re going to have to be well down the sex work path.

Catsandcannedbeans · 12/08/2025 09:13

So a mum in our school does it - she is very much shunned and socially excluded. I like her to be honest she’s an absolute riot, but I know my husband isn’t looking at her porn. That’s why a lot of the mums don’t like her - and a lot of dads are subscribed. She does like actual porn though and to be honest it’s unlikely you’ll make much money unless you have a large pre existing following on do actual porn. Her son is 5 and doesn’t really get bullied to my knowledge but lots of families won’t have him round ect.

I genuinely would not recommend it, most women who do it make little money and you will be pushed and pressured to do more and more explicit stuff for money. I really hope you find a better solution.

JacquesHarlow · 12/08/2025 09:14

But considering keeping it a secret from everyone.

This is 2025 @Mumontheedge1249 - there's no such thing. Once those pics are on the Internet, chances are someone who knows someone etc will find out.

Radiatorvalves · 12/08/2025 09:15

My former employer fired people for working on OF. Interesting article…

mumofoneAloneandwell · 12/08/2025 09:16

I would be worried that if your husband found out, which in this day and age is likely, he would use it to take your kids from you.

Its a hard no from me, even though I support women doing what they want with their bodies xx

I sold a three pairs of ski socks on Vinted, each pair worn once. The sold for £55. I had no idea.

Dippythedino · 12/08/2025 09:32

It's s bit of a leap from working p/t to deciding to become a sex worker to earn money to leave your dh. Most women in your position would go from p/t to f/t work or retrain for a better paid career. Why not pick up some weekend hospitality/bar/restaurant shifts?

The hospitality industry is really struggling for staff atm so plenty of work available. Send your CV to a recruitment agency & ask them to find you a f/t or another p/t admin or other job to fit in with your current job? I think you can find much better paid work than sex work tbh, you just haven't tried hard enough.

As for keeping it a secret, you're incredibly stupid to think that. Have you forgotten what happened to that cheating couple who were outed at the Coldplay concert? In this digital age, nothing stays secret for very long.

Just doing ordinary "sexy pics" will make you two fifths of fuck all. This stuff is all available for free.

How much more would you need to earn to make leaving viable? Have you checked your benefit entitlements? Lots of other ways to make money from home- lots of claims processing jobs are now 100% WFH.

Do you have any other skills, like typing?

alwaysstressed · 12/08/2025 09:48

“Selling underwear” Men are literally revolting they really are!!

If you had no idea, why did you price them at £55 which is fairly pricey for ski socks ?
I could understand at an ebay auction but vinted surely you set the price ? Sounds lucrative though 😃

MounjaroMounjaro · 12/08/2025 10:03

OP, when you were growing up, did you want to be a sex worker? Did you think at any time that your children would be proud of you for exposing your body to strange men?

FFS get a grip. There are other options for you. How do you think you could put photos up there and remain private? It only takes one person to recognise you and everyone will know.

HighLadyofTheNightCourt · 12/08/2025 10:04

A mum from my child’s class does it and earns well. However, she’s had a lot of publicity (local, national and international media) and she does a hell of a lot more than just sexy pics.
Her kids are quite young at the moment but I feel
for them when they’re older as her pics are all over the internet.

Get a grip? someone’s a bit too angry about this post for absolutely no reason. Deep breaths, in through the nose out through the mouth
