To ask if anyone has seen ufo, ghost, fae?

I am curious if anybody here has seen any of these things , such as UFO or a ghost or what can be known as “fae”? I have once seen lights in the sky which could have been the Chinese lanterns, but I am open minded and interested in this subject

Nobody has seen a ghost, because ghosts aren't real. Many people may think they have seen a ghost though.

A UFO, by definition, is something you can't identify. Many people will have seen things they couldn't identify.

What a dismissive, sanctimonious comment. Don’t like the subject matter , jog on then.

I saw an object move slowly but purposefully on its own several times when I was a teenager. I put the object back each time and within moments it moved again. It was witnessed by an older person and we still have no explanation. We checked the surface it was on and even put other objects in the same place to try and replicate what happened but they never moved.
Theres a bit more to this story but it’s quite outing.

This happened to my mum over the course of about a year. My dad was worried and thought she was losing her mind until he saw it too. A cup moving slowly while all the other objects on the table stayed still. Mum was overjoyed someone else had seen the phenomenon. There were a few more incidents then it just stopped. No idea what it was or what caused it.

I saw 2 UFOs back in the 90s. One was with a friend. She asked me to get a camera to take a photo. Obviously back then it wasn't as easy to do that!

@Blueeyedbogwitch, I’m sure you’re right about some people’s brains being ‘tuned in’. My mother was occasionally acutely telepathic over very long distances - but only (in the very few cases that I know of) when someone close was in some sort of acute distress.
To me that’s a similar thing - a brain ‘wired’ differently, or perhaps with an active section that in most people is dormant.

Everybody is occasionally acutely telepathic. It’s called coincidence and confirmation bias.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 27/07/2025 11:01

I’d love to be so sure of everything, I really would.

If that was to me, there’s loads I’m not sure about. But there are some things I am.

Typical response. I can assure you, though I know you’ll, still scoff, that the very rare cases I knew of in my mother, were certainly not coincidence. On two occasions she dreamt, in detail and at the exact time it was happening, of acute distress in a family member a long way away.

In one case it concerned me, 2000 miles away, and she was sufficiently worried to write to me (she never wrote, it was always my DF) on the morning right after she’d had the dream. Which I knew from the date on the letter - this was long before email or when everybody had even a landline phone.

She had dreamt exact details of what I’d planned to do when I was awake most of the night, distraught and acutely unhappy.

But please feel free to scoff, as I know you will. I suppose you can’t help having a closed mind.

I saw a UFO in July 2023 on a lovely clear blue summer’s day. I think about it quite often

Dismissive, sanctimonious… and TRUE.

Ghosts aren’t real, Scooby.

Never actually seen a UFO or aliens but had a few ‘abduction’ experiences as a child and the last at age 15. Whether these were actual abductions or some kind of psychological episodes I don’t know although the last one left me with physical marks that could not be explained and some other information that always made me feel that was an actual genuine physical event rather than a psychological one.

It went right over our heads. It was the size of a couple of football fields and had lots intricate lights and lumps/grooves on it. All of my friends saw it too. There were also triangular craft around it which sped off at speed from standstill. It sounds crazy talking about it and I rarely mention it as everyone gives me the side eye when I do.

When I saw Trump's aircraft doing the strike on Iran the shape and style made me remember the smaller craft. Maybe the US deconstructed an alien craft?!

Didshejustsaythatoutloud · 27/07/2025 12:02

It was a beautiful sunny, not a cloud in the sky morning. My dsis and I had dropped ds off at nursery about 09.15. We seen this silver bullet shaped thing in the sky, it seemed to divide in two then come back together then do it again. We stood agog looking at it for a few minutes asking each other if we were really seeing this. We were hoping someone else would come along to confirm it as well. Not another soul about.
This was about 23yrs ago, I don't usually tell people about it because if someone told me that I would say "did you aye" and roll my eyes 😂
But it happened

Sorry I meant to say reverse engineered.

I remember being 14, so in 1984. Absolutely convinced at the time, and still now that I saw a UFO. 3 red lights in the sky flew together from right to left at what seemed to be an impossible speed and distance. So so fast. Haven't seen any ghosts but have been a nurse for nearly 40 years and have had a few strange incidents over that time which have definitely given me cause to. wonder. Most recently about a year ago I was just dozing off and felt the most incredible feeling ever. It started in my head and really slowly move down through my body. It felt like I was being filled with the most wonderful, purest form of love ever. I had tears of happiness streaming from my eyes, and I categorically knew it was my Dad. I didn't know such a feeling could ever exist.

raffle · 27/07/2025 12:57

Oh @Sobblimminwindy that sounds absolutely lovely

AnnieAsparagus · 27/07/2025 13:06

I saw a flying saucer UFO as a teen in the 80s. I saw a letter in a local newspaper the following week asking if anyone else had seen it in that location on that night, but I didn’t respond. I was probably about 14 and quite scared by it.

Brendahollowayreconsider · 27/07/2025 13:15

Morecoombe · 27/07/2025 01:48

What did it look like?

Long grey straggly hair , gaunt and grey complexion and wearing a loose fitting shirt with laces.
I looked through the peep hole and it came up for a few seconds and disappeared.i jumped back and told my sister to look and she said there's nothing there just the empty padded cell.
This was at a time there was no special effects or projected imagery at the museum.

Gettingbysomehow · 27/07/2025 13:19

I do believe in all that stuff for sure and have longed to see it but despite visiting and staying at the most haunted locations and houses in the UK I have seen nothing, not ever in all of my 63 years. I even camped out in Boleskine Woods at Loch Ness where Aleister Crowley did his big ritual ON MY OWN. And had a blissful nights sleep. I am clearly oblivious to spooks.

TheNightingalesStarling · 27/07/2025 13:24

Our student house had a poltergeist. Things like a plate jumping off a table when no one was near it, or noises from empty rooms, stuff being moved when we were out. It was just there, it didn't actually bother us.

Someone mentioned it to the Landlord and he said we weren't the only ones. Not every year, but occasionally people mentioned it.

I'm glad I moved out of my last flat when I did. Something would tamper with the recycling bin. You could hear the bin bag being moved. It only got to me once though and freaked me out, the rest of the time I was used to it. Things would also, with increasing regularity, fall over. 2Ltr bottles of pop, cans from the cupboards, etc. The most disturbing part though was I would wake with scratches, on my arms, legs, back, even stomach. Since moving it has all stopped.

That sounds horrendous! The first time I woke up with scratches I’d have been out of there 😱
