To think it is upsetting to be unfriended and blocked on Facebook no matter how rational we are about it?

I friend requested some of my old school friends on Facebook and one woman who sat next to me in quite a few subjects initially accepted my friend requests then but has now blocked me! I’m baffled by this anx no matter how rational I try and be about it it’s upsetting

Are you sure she blocked you? I keep a completely blank Facebook with no friends because I think the platform is the digital Sun. My business needs me to have Meta access or I wouldn't have it at all..

Maybe she just doesn't use FB anymore?

Facebook is full of rubbish but I am in a few groups which are very active and which I need for real life events eg running club sessions, so I have to keep my account.

I do an outdoor exercise class and FB is the only way they communicate with their members (except they sent an email when they put their prices up).

And I was a member of an "online" running club for a bit and they used to have an email newsletter every month but moved most communication onto Facebook. So sometimes you have to miss out on some things or use FB.

FB is also useful for finding local tradespeople. So it's not all bad.
